A SEAL is somthing like a commando u get dropped at a place for 24 to 48 hours and u need to do you misson like blowing up a harbor.

Magic, ranged attack, defence strenght and hitpoints that total give your combat lvl.

You can just get help by bots installed in the game that explain how the skill work.

Battlefield 1942

Release date: 9 October 2002
Genre: Strategy
Publisher: EA Games
Developer: Digital Illusions
Genre: FPS

Before this game was released, people thought it would be another WWII shooter very much similiar to all the others. But in none of the many reviews written about this game is said that this game is like any other. It’s almost a complete new genre due to it’s interactivity. Besides shooting on foot with the weapon you’re holding, you can use other weapons. What weapons? Well weapons planted out in the big playing fields like AA guns (anti-aircraft is the meaning i believe) and machine guns. Besides that there are numberous ways of transport: jeeps, tanks, planes, boats and trucks.

2 Expansion games have been made as well, called “Road to Rome” and “Weapons of WWII”. Those games expands the number of weapons: more guns, vehicles: motors, parachutes, tanks, missile tanks etc and levels. There are also several mods available which are free to download. A really good one is called “Dessert Combat”. That game got more modern weapons like helicopters, harriers, mig-21’s as well as modern weapons.

The gameplay is pretty good there are no big mistakes and I think the programmers did a great job on that part. A disadvantage are the hard-to-master-flying-controlls. Planes are a bit sensitive to steer and keeping them up is one, landing is two but what’s even harder is hitting a target. But with some practice you’ll get to master even that J

The fun aspect is that finally you’re not fighting alone anymore. That means you don’t just have some men walking with you, but you have a huge map bigger than anything else where allies are everywhere fighting the enemy and you are just part of that battle. The feeling of freedom this game gives you’ve never experienced before.

Ok you want to know how the game works? Not much to say. You choose a level where was fought in the second world war, the game loads, you can choose your weaponpack, you choose the place you want to start on the map mostly you can choose about 2 spots in the beginning and then the game starts.

The goal is to conquor all spawn points which are indicated by flags. Once killed all the enemy’s in a spawning point area the point first get’s from nobody and when you stay there long enough about 20 seconds it’ll be yours. When you die you can easily choose this spot to spawn from now. You’ll never lose all of your spawning points since your home base can’t be taken. You win when the enemy indicater reaches zero. It starts from 300 or 500 depends on the mission. You can lower his indicater by capturing the flags and killing them.

Graphics: 8/10
Sound: 9/10
Gameplay: 10/10
Total Score: 9/10

Der Untergang

First night, Germany: 16 September 2004

Introduction
World War 2 is hot at the moment. Large memorial events like the liberation of Auswitchz and other places are broadcasted weekly on global television: if you didn’t know it by know, it's almost 60 years ago that the biggest and bloodiest war in human history ended.
These events are often a reason to make another movie of the war. We had several blockbusters about the World War before (The Longest Day, Saving Private Ryan, and recently Band Of Brothers) but they all have in common that they are made from allied perspective. "Der Untergang" - the most recent movie about World War 2 - takes a different point of view. A reason for interest? Definitely.

Characters and play: 9/10
The most important person in a movie about the last 12 days of Hitler's life is - of course - the Führer himself. Bruno Ganz was picked as the actor to play his role, and I guess it would be hard to find a better one. He plays the German dictator with passion and excellence, and he handles all emotions (anger, sadness, and more) very well. Hitler however doesn’t have the leading role in this movie, the point of view lies with Traudl Jungs, Hitlers female secretary on whose diaries this movie is based on. All the other characters from the movie are played nice as well, but not as excellent as the Führer himself. I'm very glad they made this movie in German, and not English, such as many other war films tend to do.

Visual aspects: 8/10
Although the film is not truly spectacular as other movies about World War 2, the cinematography in this movie also has an interesting kind of attraction. As said above, the majority of the movie is shot in Hitler's bunker, which gives you a very nervous and claustrophobic feeling, not recommended for people who dislike small, closed rooms!
The movie has a 16+ label (at least in The Netherlands) and this is quite understandable. Especially in the second part of the movie, the violence takes on rather gore forms (many people commit suicide, lots of blood) and the scene with Mrs. Himmler killing all her children is also disgusting.

Sound: 8/10
The sound effects in this movie are very good. When the point of view is focussed on the ashes of former Berlin there are lots of noises everywhere (screaming people, falling bombs, loud explosions, gunshots and much more) and the movie gets a dark, psychological atmosphere within the concrete walls of the bunker. You can hear the dark tremors of falling bombs almost instantly, and for an optimal thrill I recommend watching the movie in cinema or with Surround Sound!

Story: 8/10
Well, what can I say about it? The story of this movie is copied from existing documents (the diaries of Traudl Jungs) and so everything seems to be realistic. In that point of view, the movie shows exactly how the last 12 days of Hitler's life passed by: hidden in a dark bunker in the ruins of Berlin.
There's also a downside of the story, though. Because the perspective is always focussed on the nazi's, you see a group of desperate people who are trying to escape from their doom. This is, although it might sound a little bit strange, a bit pathetic. Hitler is portrayed as a weak prey during the whole movie and the saviours (the Russians) are shown as the enemy. You actually start to hope Hitler will survive! Not a nice idea about the greatest dictator in human history.

Conclusion: 8.3
"Der Untergang" does what it promises: it gives a good and realistic view about the last days of Hitler inside his bunker. The visual aspects and the sound effects are very decent and the role play is excellent. However, this movie would get a higher rating if Hitler wasn't shown as weak as he is in this picture: after all, he killed millions of Jews and the worst thing you can have for such as person, is sympathy.

Sate Mix

Requirements:
(pork) bacon
pineapple
onion
peppers
Hoi-Seen sauce (or if not available; oyster sauce)
honey
salt
pepper
oil
barbecuegrill
grillbrush
sate sticks

First you cut all the meat and the vegetables in little pieces of about 3 by 2 centimeters. Now do the cut bacon in a little pan, and pour a little Hoi-Seen sauce over it. Mix or stir with a spoon. When you've done this, you put all the meat and vegetables on the sate stick. Not more than 5 pieces on one stick.

And now grill it. First turn on the barbecuegrill, until it becomes all hot. Wipe the barbecuegrill with a little oil on the grillbrush. Place a couple of sate sticks on the barbecuegrill now. Add a little pepper and salt on them. Once one side is done, turn it over and grill the other side. Make sure both sides are cooked. Now add a little honey on the sate with your grillbrush, not too much. After about 10 seconds after adding the honey, the sates will be ready!

Note: Since this is a special family recipe which Jun-Jie got from his father, that has been passed down for generations, there is no picture available.

Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Security

by Nimrod

It’s come to my attention that the abuse on Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Multiplayer is becoming worse and although my job in the community of jj2 isn’t to protect what happens in game, I have decided its time to fight back at those who abuse our favourite bunny game.

There’s a number of ways you can protect yourself with new tools coming out this month (hopefully), but until then while it is not preventable, it is catchable. If you use the tool “ApprehendJJ2” by Link available on Jazz2online.com, you can catch them in the act of renaming! To catch someone lasering is easy to, just use your eyes and screenshot it ;)

Please do forward all evidence of abuse to my email address, *censored* and I will investigate each one I receive, providing evidence is supplied.

So until the new tools are available, keep an eye on your servers and log it all.

Alexander The Great

by Grytolle

Alexandros III Philippou Makedonon (Alexander the Great, Alexander III of Macedon) (356-323 B.C.), King of Macedonia, was one of the greatest military genius in history. He conquered much of what was then the civilized world, driven by his divine ambition of the world conquest and the creation of a universal world monarchy.

Alexander has been described as: the strong, handsome commander with one eye dark as the night and one blue as the sky, always leading his army on his faithful Bucephalus. Alexander inherited from his father King Philip the best military formation of the time, the Macedonian Phalanx, armed with sarisses - the fearful five and half meter long lances. He was the first great conqueror who reached Greece, Egypt, Asia Minor, and Asia up to western India. He is famous for having created the ethnic fusion of the Macedonians and the Persians. By victory after victory, Alexander created an empire which brought him eternal glory. He brought Greek ideas, culture and life style to the countries which he conquered, and assured expansion and domination of Hellenistic Culture.

Hellenistic Culture which, together with Roman Civilization and Christianity, constitutes the foundation of what is now called Western Civilization.

According to tradition, Olympias' ancestor was the mythical hero of the Iliad - Achilles, while his father, Philip II of Macedon, was said to descend from the Zeus' son - Hercules.
