CC vs iR
posted on 24 November 2008
by Chiyu

Last Saturday, CC fought against iR again. Our first clanwar since more than a year, it turned out to be a great success for our team (Anakin, Grytolle, Snooze, Vegito and myself). We beat iR with 25-8. The first round was in BBlair, where Grytolle, Snooze and Vegito played (score: 8-4). The second round was in DW, where Anakin, Vegito and myself played (score: 17-4). A screenshot and some comments can be found here.

For those who care, these are the stats. With e-kills, we are referring to crucial kills of the enemy flag carrier that allowed a teammate to score. Note that there are not necessarily the same amount of e-kills as scores; this is because some scores were "rushes".

BBlair:
Grytolle: 2 scores, 0 e-kills
Snooze: 1 score, 4 e-kills
Vegito: 5 kills, 4 e-kills

DW:
Anakin: 4 scores, 1 e-kills
Chiyu: 5 scores, 5 e-kills
Vegito: 8 scores, 2 e-kills

* Please do not pay too much attention to these stats: they do not automatically mean that one player is 'better' than another. Keep in mind that both rounds were were team-efforts and it's the teams that pulled off these nice results.

The Trinity experiment
posted on 13 November 2008
by Chiyu

After extensive talking with Kruzader (Trinity's leader), CC and Trinity have merged. Trinity is a powerful Travian clan in the south-west area (the same as CC). Note that this merge does not affect the rest of the clan, this is Travian-only. (We will not agree on any merges in any other division.)

This is in clear contrast with FADA half a year ago, who just took us over and didn't care about us all. This time, CC's identity is well preserved. While they got to keep their alliance's name at Travian (Trinity), all our other demands were granted. For one, 4 of the 8 seats in the council are held by CCers (Anakin, Kyura, Vegito and myself), with myself as a high council even. TrˇNˇty (the northern branch) and Tr!N!ty (the southern branch) do now officially represent CC's Travian division.

The merge took some time to organize, but it's completed now. As I'm writing this, our northern wing alone already has 9484 points and this makes it the 17th clan at Travian's 8th server, out of 886 clans, which is an impressive feat. For the first time in our history at Travian, we are a major player on the clan scene.

For those who don't see the benefits of this fusion, hopefully this picture will clarify it:

No more DivisionLeaders
posted on 7 November 2008
by Chiyu

All right, I decided to reorganize the clan's management a little, in order to make the clan more efficient. What I did was take out the DivisionLeader rank, because I feel this rank is unnecessary if most divisions only have one (active) game anyway. When I introduced the DivisionLeader rank several years ago, this rank was meant to coordinate the various games of the division and give me a regular report on how it's doing. Now, the responsibility goes back to the GameLeaders.

To summarize: this means the hierarchy has changed from Leader ->CoLeader -> DivisionLeader -> GameLeader -> Vice-GameLeader to Leader ->CoLeader -> GameLeader -> Vice-GameLeader, like in the past. Every GameLeader will have one game division and the total administration (site and forums) under his supervision. Every GameLeader can have a Vice-GameLeader (in the case of our most active game, JJ2: two Vice-GameLeaders) to help him with his difficult task.

Below is a picture for who still don't get it:

What immediate changes does this bring? Well, for one, former Platform DivisionLeader Grytolle is now the JJ2 GameLeader (with Anubis and Riccardo as his Vice-GameLeaders, and former Console DivisionLeader Falconator is now the MKwii GameLeader.

Cracco Clan General Update
posted on 29 October 2008
by Chiyu

Things are going quite well at the moment. I always consider CC's life to be a cycles with peaks and falls, and right now, CC is definitely peaking. Instead of doing small three or four updates for one division each, I'll summarize everything that's going on in CC in one big news post.

Platform Division
Significant things have happened at JJ2. For one, Vegito has rejoined the clan, and of course the warteam. Two challenges lie ahead for our renewed warteam: CC vs iR (in November) and CC vs 8D (hopefully soon!). It's very nice that we have these two clanwars scheduled, if only because the preparations for them make the division more active altogether :). On top of this, we have recruited some new members: Allana, Charon and DanZeal.

Strategy Division
Unfortunately, the Strategy Division is still dormant, although the games are still played at our LAN parties/CC Meetings. Still, I would like to see the division become more active online as well. Perhaps introducing a new game would be a good idea. I hereby offer the Strategy DivisionLeader spot to whoever thinks he can revive the division ;).

Console Division
SSBB GameLeader Joe left us in order to start his own clan. He was succeeded by Degoq (as GameLeader) and Tempest (as Vice-GameLeader). Degoq, Tempest and myself immediately began to recruit new members for the team and reorganize the division. These are the results:
- There are now weekly trainings (1vs1 and 2vs2), on Sunday.
- We now have a treaty with a big and skilled SSBB clan, Super Smash BC, to train together every two weeks. This means more opportunities for our members to improve their skills.
- We'll have our first clanwar in January, against the clan just mentioned.
- Degoq made arrangements with a gameshop in the city of Utrecht so that we can go there sometime to have a tournament, possibly with tryout sessions, in public (good advertisement for CC!).
- Additionally, there will be more often IRL SSBB tournaments at our places.
- On top of this, I offer private training sessions on Tuesday or Wednesday to everyone who is interested. Just ask me, and we'll arrange something.

Browser Division
The clan on Travian is growing fast. Click here to see it. I appointed Vegito to become the new Travian GameLeader. As I'm writing this, our ranking is #79, out of 549 clans. At the moment we have 16 members, of which 9 already have more than 100 population. All members have a 'blue' or 'green' dot, which means everyone is very active. The only problem is that there are some pretty powerful clans not very far from us. These could pose a threat to some of our members soon. We are still open for new members, so why don't you try the game out and see if you like it? (Region South-West!)

CC cleaned up
posted on 22 October 2008
by Chiyu

Now that the Platform, Console and Browser divisions are all going well, I figured it would be a good opportunity to clean up the clan. With Falconator and Grytolle, I reviewed each of the memberlists and removed all inactive members who don't seem to care about the clan anymore and members who already left a long time ago (sometimes without telling us). Now all memberlists, including the staff list, are up to date.

Sometimes members were only removed from one or two games, but some members were removed from the clan altogether. Below is a list of all members who are completely removed. Please note that if you feel you have been removed unjustified, you have the right to contact me to defend your cause, and you can rejoin easily.

So, the second run of our travian division has finally started!
If you haven't created an account yet, don't fret, there is still time. If you join later, the others could help you with resources and such. But don't take too long ;).

This time, Travian has a new feature: quests. Click on the guy on the right part of your screen in order to get some quests. Do what he says and receive free resources! Don't forget to do this, otherwise you'll have a slower start :(.

I've already built an embassy, so be sure to post your coordinates (and username) on the forums so I can invite you!

Travian Division in two days!
posted on 15 October 2008
by Chiyu

For those who missed the news on MSN and mIRC:
On the 17th of October, Travian international server 8 will restart. This gives us an excellent opportunity to register and be among the first players on the server, giving us an invaluable head start as a clan.

The preregistrations have opened today, so if you want to join the new Travian Division, make your way to www.travian.com. Click on register, choose Server 8 and most importantly... be sure to choose Starting position: South-West!!! If you mess this up, you will end up like Shaney on our first Travian experiment: completely isolated and with no allies around.

This time around we're going to coordinate our cooperation a bit better, for which we will use the CC forums. I will hide the Travian forum from the public eye, so that only CC members will be able to read its contents (so be sure to sign up if you haven't already!).

One of the first things I'll do is set up a good sitting system. Every CC member will be obliged to sit for at least one other CC member, and this will be appointed through the forums. (The other sitter slot is 'free'.) I'm aiming to give everyone a sitter who is mostly online at different times than him/herself. This would reduce the risks of getting attacked.

CC Meeting #62
posted on 2 October 2008
by Chiyu

Last weekend, CC Meeting #62 took place. This meeting proved to be a turning point in several ways. In general the meeting was quite a success, except for two participants who were severely misbehaving and thereafter left early.

During this meeting's tournament, two new games were introduced to replace their predecessors: Super Smash Bros. Brawl (replacing Super Smash Bros. Melee) and Soul Calibur IV (replacing Soul Calibur II). Since the SSBB is quite popular in CC, everyone at the tournament either had the game or (in Anakin's case) knew it very well. This made for a very exciting tournament. I hope the tournaments in the future will be more balanced as well.
Below are the scans of the main tournaments:
Super Smash Bros. Brawl free-for-all tournament
Super Smash Bros. Brawl duel tournament
Soul Calibur IV tournament
Mario Kart Wii tournament
To summarize: Anakin won the SSBB tournament and I won the SC4 and MKwii tournaments.

On top of this, in this meeting both Tempest and Degoq made their first appearance. They were both very well accepted by the rest of the group and I hope to see them again at upcoming meetings :).

Future of the Browser Division

I would like to inform every CC member (or anyone who wants to join CC for the Browser Division) that at the moment the voting poll is up to decide the new game(s) for the Browser Division. Please make your way to the forums and vote here.
I'd appreciate it if you posted what you voted for so we know which people we can expect to join the new division.
Thanks.

First SSBB Training
posted on 25 August 2008
by Chiyu

The first official online SSBB Training, hosted today between 8.45 PM CET and 11 PM CET, was a big succes :). Not less than 8 people showed up, although one of them ( Falconator) had technical problems so he couldn't play. We started off by playing several FFA matches, and ended with a small 1vs1 tournament. I, Chiyu, ended first and Joe ended second. I hope to see as many, or even more, players at the next training! Be sure to check the forum frequently for information about trainings!

Less divisions, less ECCers
posted on 21 August 2008
by Chiyu

I want to announce that for the past week, we've been reorganizing the clan. The two most important changes are:

- The Shooter and Roleplaying divisions weren't going well, so they have been removed completely for the time being. The Browser Division is temporarily on hold until we decide which browser game(s) we're going to play. You can join in the discussion here. The Strategy Division doesn't have any leaders anymore, since the strategy games will from now on mainly be played at LAN parties. No changes for the Platform or Console divisions.

- All inactive ECCers have been demoted or removed. I have assembled a new crew that I deem to be very skilled and efficient. Contact them if you need help with anything. Allow me to introduce:
Anakin - CoLeader (anakin@craccoclan.com)
Anubis - JJ2 GameLeader (ninetales93@yahoo.co.uk)
Chiyu - Leader (chiyu@craccoclan.com)
Falconator - Console DivisionLeader (darthfalconator@hotmail.com)
Grytolle - Platform DivisionLeader (grytolle@craccoclan.com)
Joe - SSBB GameLeader (soulman-schrauwen@hotmail.com)
Riccardo - JJ2 Vice-GameLeader (riccardo@craccoclan.com)

New forum!

Important news update!

We got a new, fresh, clean forum. This is because the old forum seemed impossible to fix and was a tad too messy. I would like to urge everyone to sign up at the new forum, and help trying to get it as active again as it once was. All divisions will start using the forum a lot more from now on, especially the Console and Browser divisions.

We are soon going to remove the memberpages and have the hyperlinks direct to people's topics in the "Introductions" forum. That way people can change their info and photo whenever they like. So I'd like to ask all members to post a new topic in which you introduce yourself to the rest of the clan.

Thanks and happy posting!

Travian clan disbanded
posted on 20 June 2008
by Chiyu

About a month and a half ago, a rival clan known as "FADA" took over half of the CC members. This move proved to be fatal for the future of the clan. -CC- slowly turned inactive and nowadays we're nothing more than farms for bigger clans. This is why I've decided to disband the -CC- team on this server (com6). The past few months were a good experience and training for us all and we learned our lesson that 'joining' another clan is no good idea if it means giving up our autonomy.

If things go as planned, we'll be back on another server with a fresh start in the summer holiday. Please be patient until then :).

CraccoClan and Digiex cooperation
posted on 20 May 2008
by Chiyu

It finally happened. The CraccoClan site has moved to a new server. Nimrod approached me about expanding Digiex in the JJ2 scene and we came to an agreement. This includes for CC, hosting and webmaster support and for Digiex, access to the largest JJ2 clan. For us this means that most bugs and extensive downtime are now a thing in the past and we have a lot more storage for our site. (If you still encounter any bugs, feel free to contact us.)

We look forward into the future for expanding our partnership and bringing together the resources and talent of Digiex, with the needs of CC. This is only the first phase of a long-term partnership. We're planning to merge the forums in a few weeks/months from now, which means CC will finally get a proper vBulletin forum.

About Digiex:
Digiex provides services and support for leading companies including Epic Games® as well as providing internet solutions and support to smaller companies on a one to one basis. With Dedicated Servers in the United Kingdom, America and Canada with tons of low latency fast bandwidth, Digiex prides itself on speed and stability. If you are interested in professional services, contact us.

New @craccoclan.com emails!
posted on 14 May 2008
by Chiyu

As a forebode of other things to come very soon, I would like to present the new @craccoclan.com email server. Our previous system used horde, which was very messy and spammy. Last week, we got a new email server, powered by Gmail. Thanks to Nimrod of Digiex for setting this up for us.

The new @craccoclan emails have many advantages over the old ones. For one thing, logging in is MUCH easier. All you need to do is go to http://mail.craccoclan.com/, type in your username (which is the same as your nickname in CC) and your password. From now on you can also choose to forward your @craccoclan mail to another email address (for instance to your hotmail account), so you don't need to check two email addresses separately. Note that you can, of course, use your @craccoclan mail for your MSN account too.

Basically, every CC member can have a new nickname@craccoclan.com email address. All you have to do is tell me which password you want to have (naturally, you can change it later) and I'll create an account. However, for ECCers it's from now on obligatory to have a @craccoclan.com email. The reason for this measure is simple: I want to improve the communication in our clan. If every ECCer has a "nickname@craccoclan.com" email address, it will be very easy for members to contact their game/divisionleaders or for new people to ask to join CC without having to find out what the respective game/divisionleader's email address is. Don't worry too much though: like I said before, if you don't feel like checking your @craccoclan.com email every day, you can just forward it to another email address!

Important! Even if you already had a @craccoclan.com, you will have to reactivate your account! Your old emails will still be accessible through the horde server, but all new emails will be delivered at the gmail server!

On a sidenote, last weekend we had another reasonably big CC meeting that looked much like a small holiday (we took the boat to Centerparcs de Eemhof in Flevoland). We also had a tournament and among other games, we played the Console division games Super Smash Bros. Melee and Mario Kart Wii. Below are the results.

Mario Kart Wii Division has started!

by Falconator

Yesterday, Chiyu, Fluvius and myself have played our first Mario Kart match online! It was a very nice match, although the downside was that there were only the three of us. So it is time that we get started with our official trainings!

My suggestion for this is every Wednesday around 19:00 or 20:00 dutch time (cet+2). Of course, if too many people can't show up on that time, we will change it. For this you can contact either me or Chiyu.

Another suggestion... for the people playing Mario Kart Wii online, add the following friendcodes online!

Falconator: 5284-2095-2406
Chiyu: 1719-3425-7189

CC Meeting 58 was the meeting with most CCers ever to attend a meeting. The new record is set at a whopping 17 members! Participants include: Anakin, Benjd, Chiyu, Dx, Falconator, Fluvius, Freezy, Gogeta, Jaffa, Link, Maestro, McDragon, Rocko, RoyalB, Ryu, Sanderstijl and Stey. Not everyone stayed the entire meeting though. It took place from the 2nd to the 6th of May and included a wide range of activities. View the full story to see the entire log.

Many photos were taken. These can be viewed here! I also recommend looking at the video of the Tiny (CPU) vs Pumba (CPU) match, which can be found here.

Mario Kart Wii
posted on 23 April 2008
by Chiyu

I would like to announce that CC has also started a Mario Kart Wii subdivision, in painful anticipation of SSBB which will not be released in Europe till June (the MKwii division will, of course, not be removed when SSBB gets here).

Our current line-up is as follows:
Chiyu (Leader)
(If you want to play with me, add my Mario Kart friend code: 1719-3425-7189)
Falconator (DivisionLeader)
Freezy
Nimrod
Speeza

From our experiments so far we've concluded that lag is no real issue in MKwii, at least, not when playing with fellow European players. Whether it will go just as well when playing with American players is something we'll find out later. If this is the case, there won't be a distinction between European and American teams.

The division pledges to offer weekly sessions/trainings and a running competition for those members participating in the official sessions with scores posted at the CC site. Since Mario Kart has awesome teamplay possibilities (x vs x races and x vs x battles, with a blue team versus a red team), 2vs2s, 3vs3s, 4vs4s and clanwars are likely going to happen.

Interested? Let me know.

Tribal Wars
posted on 16 April 2008
by Chiyu

CoLeader Anakin and I have discussed the possibility of expanding to Tribal Wars. It's a browser game, very similar to Travian (a notable difference is that in TW, you can lose your capital, so be careful!). We've decided to expand to this game in half a year and make a fresh start at a new server where we have a fresh chance to win. Until then we want to give players the chance to learn the game and get experienced. Please register at http://jazzjackrabbit.net/gry/CC/cutenews1/www.tribalwars.net and experiment around a little. (Anakin and me are at the international server 17, but you're free to choose whatever you want.)
This means that if we launch the division in half a year from now, our players will be 'prepared' and we might actually have a chance to win :).

A few weeks ago, the official CC flag was made (credits go to RoyalB!), but we had not yet created a news post about it. So hereby, I present you the official CC flag (which will be used as our banner on CC meetings and such).

On a side note, CC Meeting #57 aka CC LAN IV will take place the upcoming weekend. Five people (each with a working PC) have subscribed so far. If you have a laptop (or a PC in combination with a car), feel free to come. As usual, all games of CC's Strategy Division will be played.

I thought this might be pretty interesting for all Travian members and others who are concerned with the division. I believe it was Anakin who first pointed me to this, but I'm not sure.

You can see a map of our entire clan that shows exactly where everyone is at http://travianmap.nl/index.php. Search for alliantie -CC- at server s6.travian.com and you'll see it! It's pretty interesting to keep track of how our clan is growing. Notice how Shaney's "Pink Dildo Town XD" is seperated from the rest of us.

LAN(s) to keep the Strategy Division going!
posted on 4 March 2008
by Chiyu

Let's be honest: the Strategy Division isn't all too active online. But I found the perfect remedy for this problem: occasional LAN parties! Playing together in real life is more fun anyway. During the past few weeks I've organized two and they were both successful.

Of course... the downside is that you need a laptop (or carry your own computer) in order to participate, and that there's some traveling that needs to be done. Currently the LAN parties are being held at Wijchen (the Netherlands), where I reside.

So.. I'm organizing yet another LAN party (this time an official CC Meeting) for the upcoming weekend (7, 8, 9, (10) March). All Strategy Division games (AoE2, AoE3 and Civ4) will be played. Interested? Let me know!

Sitting your (Travian) account
posted on 15 February 2008
by Chiyu

"In case you didn't know there is an option in Travian where you can assign a sitter. A sitter is someone who can log into your account using their password to manage your account in your absence.

If you want to do so then go into: Profile, account and then assign who you want to sit for you. This should be an alliance member and friend of course, someone you trust very well.

What this will do is prevent your resources from piling up which can be instead spent on production, troop gathering rather than letting someone raid your village and take it instead.

Peace,

Denster"

Having one or two sitters can lower the risk of losing resources when you're raided at night time. Since I go to bed fairly late (3 AM on average), I volunteer to be a sitter for everyone who wants me to be. You can tell me what resources/buildings I should spend the resources on and I'll gladly take care of your matters. Let me know if you're interested.

CC is recruiting for Super Smash Brothers Brawl (Wii)!
posted on 8 February 2008
by Falconator

As some of you may already know, the Cracco Clan (from now on called CC) plays multiple games and has separate divisions for each genre. One of these is the Console Division. Until now we have only been playing Super Smash Brothers (N64) online using an emulator, but we would like to announce that we are expanding the division! As of today we add Super Smash Brothers Brawl (from now on called SSBB) for the Wii to our game line-up, and of course we are open for recruiting!

What is Super Smash Brothers Brawl? Normally I would wonder under which rock you came crawling out from. But of course, not every game is known to everyone. Super Smash Brothers Brawl is an online fighting game for the Wii. However, it isn't comparable to fighting games like Tekken, Mortal Combat etc. The playable characters aren't the stereotype fighters. In this case you have to expect fighters like: Super Mario, Bowser, Link, Samus Aran, Pikachu, Ness, Falcon, Sonic, Solid Snake etc. Characters from high franchise games fighting each other in an all out battle! Each with their unique skills and fighting in unique levels (standard ones or created by yourself in a level editor).

The game started with the popular Super Smash Brothers for the N64 and was followed up by Super Smash Brothers Melee for the GameCube. Both had a crushing success in the game world and the sequel SSBB is one of the most highly anticipated games in the past few years.

For more information check the following websites:
Official Super Smash Brothers Brawl site
Cracco Clan Information Page

When will the game be released? SSBB has been released in Japan a couple of weeks ago and on the 9th of March it will be released in America. Hopefully, soon after the American release will be the European one, which we expect in Q2 2008.

Why are you recruiting already? Considering that internet gaming is on the doorstep for the Wii, we want to start early and give people the opportunity to find a clan so they can find friends and opponents to play against. At the moment I am aware that there are more games with the ability to go online (Super Smash Football, Pokémon Battle Revolution etc.) but it is obvious that SSBB is going to be the first popular and thus highly anticipated game to go online. In the future more online games will be added to the Console Division, so that when you buy a new game it is possible to go online with your clan and friends immediately.

Why should I join CC? With the release of SSBB the Console Division will be turned in one of the main divisions of CC. Meaning, it is going to get full attention of the leaders. Also we have already started talking about trainings and diverse contests. See the overview below for the main activities in CC.
- At least two official trainings a week so you can learn from more experienced players
- Participation in online clan wars
- Intern competitions between members of CC (both 1 on 1 and 2 on 2)
- Level building contest
- Enough members online to play with for fun

These are the main activities in CC. Of course in due time, more will be added when we get near the release of the game.

I want to fight against other clans! Whoa wait a minute! You can’t just run off into battle against other clans! We don’t even know if you are up for the challenge. You may have the guts, but do you have the skills? We are counting on a lot of members for SSBB in CC, and we can’t put them all on the frontline. Therefore we are using the rank system where you have to earn your position. This is done by showing your skills during trainings or special trial requests with the leaders. There are multiple playing ranks, as shown below.
- Elite
- Warteam (may be divided between Alpha and Beta)
- Normal
- Trainee

Everyone starts with the normal rank and has to earn the next one. We are trainee friendly and have no problems with training them (with enough interest, there will be separate trainings).

I would like to sign up!
That's great news! There are three people you can approach to sign up. Send one of these persons a mail and they will respond as quickly as possible to help you. When you add us on MSN, please inform us about in which region you will be playing. The reason for this is the time difference and the possibility that the internet connection between America and Europe isn't strong enough to play online with. If this is the case, the division will be split up. This will all become clearer when the game is released worldwide.

Chiyu - Leader: chiyu@craccoclan.com
Falconator - Console DivisionLeader: darthfalconator@hotmail.com
Mjam - SSBB Game leader: mjam41@hotmail.com

Thank you for your attention and we of CC hope to receive your sign-up mail!

We've just started a kinda Mini-division on a webbrowser game (www.travian.com).

It's a web based RTS game, quite simple, easy to learn if you follow the tutorial on the official site.

If you are already at it, do pay attention that you do register on SERVER 6, again, register on server 6!
Choose to play in the SOUTH-WEST region,
I repeat, choose to play in the SOUTH-WEST region.

You have to control resources and armies, and there are also guilds (alliances) And we are having a CC Alliance there. Its not really a game that needs much attention, since you can only build 1 building at a time and especially in the advanced stage it takes long for them to build them. I personally do the following: in the morning log on, make a building or upgrade it, and then make as much units/army as i can till my resources deplete and at the end of the school day, my resources will be refilled again, i can then spend them over again for another mass army creation and/or more upgrades or buildings and of course I do this once more before i go to bed. All these actions require no more than 5 minutes, try it for yourself!

For the first days the game will seem to be boring as you won't be able to do/build a lot, its important that you construct a good base, that means, many resource income, at least 1 cranny on level 10, a storage of both buildings and the embassy. That should all be done within the first week. After that come the barracks and the fun will begin. A good site to refer to would be help.travian.com it explains a lot, pretty short and easy and doesn't involve huge texts.

Administration up-to-date

Right, I spent the entire afternoon cleaning up the CC site. All broken links have been fixed, and the Roleplaying and Shooter divisions have been updated with RO and CSS. Both the CS1.6 and CSS subdivisions have working clanwar results pages now, with screenshots included (check them out if you like).

Most importantly, I updated the annals with the history with 2007 in a nutshell. 2007 wasn't exactly great for CC, but it wouldn't be fair to say that it was no good whatsoever. Apart from the CC-8D clanwar conflict in January and the regression and stagnation in the second half of the year, we also witnessed a fantastic 22-4 victory against DM, a flourishing IRC channel and FlyFF division and we welcomed many new, nice members. Click on "History" to read it.

My return and more

I would like to announce that I, Chiyu, have returned. I know I've never been completely gone, but the truth is that I haven't been very active since August/September 2007 due to personal circumstances. I'm happy to say that since about a week and a half ago, I'm completely active again, giving my everything for CC! This also means I'll clean up the site and write the history of 2007 as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.
To prove my renewed activity, I've spent a lot of time finishing two of my semi-abandoned projects, a JJ2 tileset and a Civ4 mod.
Check a picture of the new tileset "Cracco Castle" here.
Download the Civilization 4 mod "Extra" here.

Also, I'd like to let you know that our fine JJ2 GameLeader Quickz has organized a CTF 2vs2 tournament for JJ2. 20 teams (40 players) will be participating. The tournament is especially interesting to keep an eye on because several CC teams will participate ( Anubis and RiCCardo, Grytolle and Maverick, Ana and Sweet, Chiyu and Shaney) as well Snooze (teaming up with Vivando from 8D), Turkawka (teaming up with R3ptile from DM) and Quickz himself (teaming up with DarkSonic from 8D). Note that these teams are likely to change after the first round. For more information, go here.

Finally.. datorStol has rejoined CC and has created a Swedish CSS team (to replace the CS 1.6 team) and brought back new life to the dormant Shooter Division. He changed to Source because the graphics are better, most maps are better gameplay wise and a more restricted community.

Kombucha The Movie - Part I

Even though it's already included in the zip file found in the previous post, I thought that this movie deserves special attention.

Behold! It's the first part of the highly anticipated "Kombucha The Movie" - introducing the Kombucha Tower and starring our favourite CC member Rocko! Synopsis: Rocko talks about his love for the mysterious beverage known as Kombucha (in Dutch).

Download the movie here! (right click to save as).
