It's gone. I uploaded a back-up, and added the latest members I could remember. Please, check if you're in the list, and if there are people on it that shouldn't be there. Post your comments here, and I'll try to fix it up. If you would happen to have a fresher copy on your hard drive, do tell!
Thanks a lot. (this sucks)

In a attempt to bring the clan together again and to get active again, we have decided to revive our RO (Ragnarok online, mmorpg) division again!
Currently our only real running division is jj2 and maybe Civ4 a bit, Flyff wasn't very successful and we were becoming quite inactive as a clan, to do something together again, we have chosen to play RO again.
Current members signed up: Chiyu, Anakin, Neo, Shinto, Kyura, Jedi, Dokuda, G3nix, Andmath

Jj2 update

JJ2WC is still dormant, unfortunately - but at least two of our teams still remain, if I recall correctly.
JDC just ended, congratulations to Vegito for winning yet again. Superjazz ended up second, followed by Snooze and me. I can't reach the site at the moment, to confirm if I remember things right. But hopefully you can when you read this. Click.
Thanks to JDC, the division has remained quite active, and there seems to be at least some CCer roaming the public servers each day. I'm quite busy with studying myself at the moment, while getting adapted, so I haven't been playing too much this week - but I don't think there's much trouble finding people for a good game.
As far as I can remember, there hasn't been any membership changes recently.
Shinto's right, you should be on IRC. Lately, there's little to no interaction between the divisions, since the forums are inactive (because there's hardly anything important to discuss) and people tend to always leave the channel "because there's no one there".
Be your week end nice!
Roleplaying Division General Update

by Shinto
Well, to make a long story short, some few changes has taken place regarding the CC Roleplaying Division.
- Jaffa has decided to step aside as Guild Master in the CraccoClan Guild, due to studies, and Stey is his replacement.
- Zeta has decided to join the FlyFF division, which is positive, since the division is lacking in activeness. :)
That's like the most relevant for now....and don't forget to go on IRC ppl, the channel is like in need for more CC'ers^^
AoE3 & Civ4 trainings
posted on 20 July 2007

Falconator, Posaqua, Rocko and I got together and discussed the future of the Strategy division. To keep the division active during the holidays (and afterwards), we have created a 'training roster', with pre-set times for trainings for Age of Empires 3 and Civilization 4 (Age of Empires 2 might be added later; I'll have to discuss this with Sanderstijl).
Feel free to come and join any of these trainings if you like; they WILL happen (if they should - for whatever reason - be canceled, it will be posted here on the forums in time) so you won't come for nothing. The length of the training is variable.
Civ4 matches take quite a while, so they will be spread out over two evenings. There won't be a Civ4 training every week. On a sidenote: all trainings are schedule for the evenings; somewhere around 7 PM. It's best to contact the GameLeader for more details if you wanna join in:
Age of Empires 3 - GameLeader Posaqua gg-p5@hotmail.com (or as an alternative: DivisionLeader Rocko rocko__86@hotmail.com) Civilization 4 - GameLeader Falconator darthfalconator@hotmail.com (or as an alternative: Leader Chiyu craccoclan.com)
As for the schedule: Week A (16-22 July etc.): Tuesday +-7.00 PM (19.00): Age of Empires 3 training Friday +-7.00 PM (19.00): Civilization 4 training (part 1) Saturday +-7.00 PM (19.00): Civilization 4 training (part 2)
Week B (23-29 July etc.): Tuesday +-7.00 PM (19.00): Age of Empires 3 training Thursday +-7.00 PM (19.00): Age of Empires 3 training
As you can see from the schedule, the first 'official' Civ4 training will be tonight! Try to be there ;).
On a side note; the long awaited expansion Civilization IV - Beyond the Sword has been released. Read this topic for more information: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=222075.

Yes, the CC newsletter is back and is now called "The Newspaper"! I wanted the newsletter back again, so I asked Chiyu. And he said I could be the editor.
So, I can now proudly say that there will be an edition every month. With some original CC newsletter things like the interview. And some new things like introducing the new members. For other new things you will have to check out the newest edition that will be published as soon as possible.
I, HiyuKantaro, am now the Editor-in-chief of the newspaper and Medieval is the assistant editor. Chiyu, who previously was the Editor-in-chief, but quit working on it, remains a interviewer and article writer. He just isn’t leading it anymore.
You will also be able to subscribe to the newspaper, so that it will automatically be sent to your E-mail address. You can expect the upcoming newspaper soon!

Veto right for JJ2 members
posted on 30 June 2007
by Chiyu
From now on, every time we want to recruit a new member for our Jazz Jackrabbit 2 division, we'll make a topic in the Cracco Clan Only forum where all active members of the JJ2 division will be able to "veto" this particular person. The topic will be closed in one day though! From now on all of you have a say about which people will become CC members and which won't! Many other clans have already adopted a system like this, now it's our turn. This new rule has been introduced to make sure that the few members who we might recruit are not hated by our current members.. this would contribute to a nicer division! However, do not abuse your veto-right by boycotting every single member who wants to join - we will expect proper arguments! Some examples of unacceptable arguments: "lolz he/she has a stupid nickname", "i hate ppl from [insert country here]". Some examples of acceptable arguments: "he/she has been showing bad behaviour at JJ2 online", "we can't communicate with him/her, he/she can't speak English".

If you have any questions regarding FlyFF, I would like to encourage you to contact either Shinto, Jaffa, Chiyu or myself in #Craccoclan at the Quakenet IRC network.
Cleaning up the JJ2 roster
posted on 24 June 2007
by Chiyu
As you may have heard; we are going to clean up our JJ2 member list. Gry and I both think this has to be done, for several reasons. We feel that CC is hogging so many JJ2 members that we are damaging the already small JJ2 clan community. CC doesn’t need this many members. Having fewer members in our JJ2 division would result in other clans having a chance to grow and ultimately would result in more competition. Other clans, such as RR, are waiting with open arms for new members and they will be glad to see the new opportunities for growth. This feeling has also been expressed from others in the JJ2 community. Removing some members from our list would allow CC to focus on a core group. This is not in any way an indication that the members who will be removed are not good at the game.
Every member removed from the CC list has the right to 'protest' against the decision made as soon as they read this on the CC site. Their protest will be taken into consideration and their situation will be individually examined.
Current active members slated to be removed from our list: Basia Dark Deene Diabelek Dideledodo Fabian Golden Rabbit Kuzi Lihje Kohinoor Matrix Phantom Rabbit Raven
As for the "Inactive" members, only those who are already in another CC division (to be precise: Jaffa, Kyura, Link, Rocko) and the ones who are no longer affiliated with CC (Carle, Kill) will be removed from the list.
On a side note, due to heavy protest from the JJ2 community, Jerry and I have chosen to stop the official alliance between CC and RR for now. This doesn't mean that our clans can't be friends of course.
In other news, I have chosen to alter the clanwar results a little. For more information, you can go here: http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/showthread.php?t=16884.
Alliance with RR
posted on 15 June 2007
by Chiyu
We have created an alliance with the clan RR, the Rabbit Roasters. RR is a Jazz Jackrabbit 2 clan lead by Jerry. For more information about RR, go to RabbitRoasters.co.nr. This alliance implies that both clans will cooperate more closely on JJ2. For example; letting members of the other clan join in clan trainings and competitions. We may also use the RR Training Center, which is currently being worked on. Note that this treaty WON'T allow multi-clanning on JJ2! Both clans will stay completely independent. As a token of friendship between the two clans, we have introduced the "Ambassador" rank. One RR member will be given access to the hidden ECC forum and will be allowed to participate in certain clan discussions. This member will be shown on the CC memberlist as "RR Ambassador". One of us will be Ambassador in RR. For now, these ranks will be given to the clanleaders (Jerry and me) ourselves.

The last of the old rivals

CC has advanced to the second stage of JJ2WC3. Our first match was against DM, the famous Dark Mercenaries. DM is like the third oldest clan on JJ2 still alive (after GpW and CC)? and has always been recognised as one of the elitest clans on JJ2. Sadly, our clans have never had the chance to play against eachother before (they were eliminated by VS in the semi-finals of JJ2WC2, and they didn't want to play a clanwar outside of a tournament). But now it finally happened. Although if this match had been played some years before, it would have been much more interesting.
We were supposed to play best out of five (which means that the clan which gets three round victories first wins the match), but unfortunately we only got to play two rounds. The rest of the game was forfeited due to a lack of players on their side. Thanks to Sasik for hosting both rounds and thanks to Anakin and Snooze for being available as back-ups (even though they didn't get the chance to play due to the lack of rounds :().
Round 1 - Happy Semiconductor (their choice) CC team: Chiyu, Grytolle, Maverick DM team: AvK, FireSworD, R3ptile Score: 5-1 for CC
Round 2 - Diamondus Warzone (our choice - a classic) CC team: Chiyu, Grytolle, Maverick DM team: AvK, FireSworD, R3ptile Score: 17-3 for CC
For more detailed statistics from the clanwar, go to: http://www.craccoclan.com/jj2wc/statsCCvsDMround1and2.txt.

I'm very happy with these great results :). It feels as if my career on JJ2 is now 'complete'. But I guess I'll stick around for a while longer ;). GG!

CS1.6 warserver + "Regarding Vegito 5"
posted on 25 April 2007
by Chiyu
The site is back online again! Thank you all for being patient! A few things to report this time...
First of all; big thanks go to the clan v6, for making it so we now finally have a dedicated warserver for our Counter-Strike 1.6 teams to play on. At the moment the NL and SE teams have to share it, but we hope to get a second server later on. Here are the details: IP: 193.164.155.126 port: 27051 password: hej (subject to change anytime - ask Jinzo or datorStol if you want to know)
Also, another sponsor, MrJigsaw has decided to provide CC with a Ventrilo server (we've only had a couple of rooms till now). More info on this later! On top of this, one of our own members, Benjd has decided to pay for the hosting and the domain of CC site for a year! Thanks a lot ;)!
Anyway, I'm very happy to announce that Vegito and I had a lengthy and good conversation and as a result; Jaffa agreed to lift his ban and Vegito decided to rejoin CC. He is already back in AoE2 and SSB, and he'll be rejoining the JJ2 division on a short notice as well.
Thirdly, Matan has requested to revive the Warcraft 3 division. Since he met the requirements (6 active members or more), I gave him permission to do so. But it won't be added to the site yet until I'm confident that it will work out. The semi-official division consists of 8 members at the moment (mostly Israelis): Matan, Electra, IRONMAN, NaPPeR, radiatioN, Anakin and Snooze.
On a sidenote, in JJ2, BotS (our Gamma team) has been eliminated from JJ2WC3, whereas RL (our Beta team) and CC (our Alpha team) have advanced to the next round! ^^
A Golden Age for CC

I am very delighted to say that the past few weeks it's been going great with CC! The clan is growing fast in general and the new divisions CS1.6 and FlyFF are doing well. You could say the clan is becoming more professional, now that we have several sponsors (for IRC bouncers, for Ventrilo channels and and soon one for a CS server as well). Let's review some divisions seperately.
Jazz Jackrabbit 2 CC has signed up with three teams during JJ2WC3 (Jazz Jackrabbit 2 World Championships 3); CC (Cracco Clan), RL (Rising Legends) and BotS (Bitches of the Shane). CC has recently beated dVS (Dark VerSus, VS' second team) with 36-2! Also, we have been recruiting new players at JJ2:
Diabelek, Slayer, Dejman, Sainouhe, Longlost, Deene, Sweet, Golden Rabbit, Ana and Zeta.
Fly For Fun Ever since we have created the guild, the division has been very popular. Lots of CC'ers from JJ2, CS1.6 or other divisions (most notably Riccardo, Shinto, Andmath, datorStol, Snooze, Longlost, Link, Elevation, Master Sven and Falconator) have joined our CraccoClan guild! On top of that, Jaffa and I have also recruited several members from the game itself for the guild, but they will not be considered as 'true' CC'ers nor added to the memberlist until they have proven their loyalty or joined the mIRC channel/forums. There is a very cooperative spirit among the members; everyone helps eachother whenever they can! I really like that attitude, my compliments to all of you. Will FlyFF beat RO as the most succesful MMORPG division CC has ever had? Time will tell, but at the moment it really looks like it!
Counter-Strike 1.6 We have divided the clan in three parts; a Dutch team , a Swedish team and the normal members who aren't in any of these two warteams. The Dutch team is lead by Jinzo (and dragoN), the Swedish team is lead by datorStol. Both teams seem to be doing well; they have even played their first clanwars for CC already!

Hello CC Members,
Chiyu and I have decided to make a new CC Division for the game Counter-Strike 1.6 . This new division is lead by Jinzo, with help from dragoN. Counter-Strike is a team-based, tactical first-person shooter made by valve. We made the division because I had a good CS team to play with. We already have 6:
-Jinzo -dragoN -Crooby -Bla$TeR -RainiX -Matan
And we are still searching for more! Contact Jinzo@Punkass.com (MSN) or add JinzoCC on steam if you want to join.

Those of you who are wanting to join us in Flyff, please be patient and hang in there a few more days. I'll post an update when the bug is repaired.
The CraccoClan Guild on FlyFF
posted on 5 April 2007
by Chiyu
After weeks of hard work, Benjd, Jaffa and I have finally created the official CC guild at Fly for Fun! FlyFF is a MMORPG and it will replace both RS and MS. FlyFF has good clan support (a clan/guild can hold 40+ members clanwars are very frequent). Another feature of FlyFF is the ability to fly (from level 20 and onwards) in full 3D environments.
As I'm typing this the guild is less than two days old, but already we have 8 trusted members in our new division (Benjd, Chiyu, Elevation, Jaffa, Kyura, Link, Rocko and Snooze). But we want to fill the other 32 spaces too, so if you are interested, please join!
For good information about the game, go to: http://www.flyfffansite.com/
You can register (for free) and download the game here: http://flyff.gpotato.com/ When you make a character, be sure to do so on Lawolf; that's the server we play on.
Regarding the ban on Vegito
posted on 4 April 2007
by Jaffa
As we all know, Vegito [8D], has left Cracco Clan recently. For those of you who don’t know who he is: He was a member of the JJ2 division’s ALPHA warteam. In addition, he was an administrator at the CC forums. He also was a frequent participant of CC's IRL meetings. By many, he was considered to be part of the clan's core.
In the past, Vegito left Cracco Clan twice. Once for GpW and once for TF. Now, he’s done it again. This wouldn’t have been such a big deal, since there were many others before him who clanhopped, if it didn’t feel like such a betrayal. Not only did he leave, acting like it was nothing, but he also explicitely distanced himself from CC, as if he is better than the rest us (mainly in order to keep his precious reputation high at JJ2).
Also, a few days ago, he played his first clanwar against CC's Beta Team). Not only is that very unloyal, it is also hurtful to us clanmates who trusted him. Worst of all, by voluntarily fighting against CC in a clanwar, he proved that he has no understanding about the way we feel about his betrayal at all - he doesn't care.
I think the current meisures against Vegito are insufficient. We need to make him feel that the choice he made, wasn't without risk.
It would be scandalous for our reputation to let him return now, after he fought against our BETA warteam at JJ2. Vegito did mention he wasn't planning on returning anyway, but that makes no difference. I think he feels that he can return to CC whenever he wants, even though he's not saying it. I do not agree with the way he's been acting to CC as of late.
Because of all this, particularly considering who he was to CC, I proposed a ban from all that is CC, for the duration of one year. Since no ECC member seemed to have objections, the ban was placed.
Chiyu's edit: I decided to lock this article because I think it might provoke flamewars - for discussions, go to the forums

Yesterday, one of our participating team RL played their first game in JJ2WC. They did, not all too surprisingly, lose by a lot against 8D - but I still think they put up a nice fight. Watch the replays, and watch for yourself here.
As I said inititally, we have more than one team participating in this clan tournament. First of all, there's CC - which consists basically of half our alpha warteam. Then we have RL which consists of the other half, and BotS (Bitches of the Shane) with all other players in CC who are willing to play. Here are the lineups:
Cracco Clan: Anakin, Chiyu, Grytolle (captain), Maverick and Snooze.
Rising Legends: Riccardo (captain), Anubis, Blazer, Criss, Enrico, Quickz, Riccardo, Scare, Spybunny and Umba
Bitches of the Shane: Shaney (captain), BlastFire, Camou, Deene, Elf, Eragon, Excabus, Fabian, Jaffa, Gustaf, Lihje, Master Sven, NovaStar, Pie, Saphir, Shaney, Shinto and Toggrok
In order to get the latest information about JJ2WC go here - nowhere else, with the possible exception of #JJ2WC (you should also hang out in #craccoclan).
New JJ2 members:

Of course, I'll stay online on mIRC and still visit the site/forum several times a day!

I shall start off major. Today CC was provided with 10 sponsored bouncers from bluebird.tixit.se (if I understood things correctly, this organisation provides bouncers only to "highskill clans" which is flattering, I think^^). A bouncer is something which allows users to remain seemingly connected to IRC when they are not connected with an IRC-client. Furthermore, messages can be left to the users for viewing on return. Those bouncers will be given to loyal and active CCers :) Thanks a lot to tixit.se, and bootdisk_ in specific for all the help. If you think you qualify for a bouncer, feel free to ask me and/or Chiyu.
Relatedly, we have also obtained some Ventrilo channels from our friends in #mormi. Ventrilo is voice communication program which we use for chatting and teamchat in games - a whole lot of fun. Also, our legendary DJ Shaney often shares his excellent music in his very own DJ channel. :D If you want to know how to connect to the Ventrilo server, don't hesitate to ask in #craccoclan, or me on MSN.
A couple of jj2 related sidenotes: - Maximus left CC again - and was thus awarded with a ban from CC, meaning he is nolonger welcome to rejoin. - The German player Fabian joined CC - do give him a warm welcome when you see him :) - The Polish player Basia joined CC - give her a warm welcome too. - Napoleon changed nickname to Falcon, and was promoted to the level of Beta warteam. Congratulations!

Greetings! The time has come for a little (or perhaps not so little - we will see) status update on how it is going with our jj2 division.
There has been some notable changes in the memberslist. Maximus rejoined, promising not to whine about ranks. Riccardo was promoted to JJ2 Vice GameLeader, and wallace was transferred to the Alpha warteam. Also, yesterday I recruited Fabian - a German player - so now the new clan GF hates us (and VS).
Vegito stated that he most likely will not be rejoining us - so I suppose other alphas (at this time, Maverick in specific - but others are rapidly improving) will have to fill out his old shoes. Hopefully we will have some new clanwars to play in a somewhat near future.
Otherwise, Snooze released a new level pack which can be downloaded at Jazz2Online, the National Tournament proceeds, however in a very slow manner and Quickz's Duelist Invitational Tournament (or whatever) has reached playoffs.
Finally, I have constructed a preconfigured mIRC client, which allows you to easily join our IRC-channel. Just get it here, unzip, and run mIRC.exe to come have a nice time with us.
OK OVER AND OUT LIEK LOL
IN AND OUT (aka edit): Jazz Jackrabbit made it to the oldest and biggest esports webpage of the world, here's the link: http://www.esreality.com/?a=post&id=1347375
More edit: I have been made Administrator at CCMB in order to fill out the void after Vegito.

We are currently working towards our goal of starting a guild in Flyff. This takes a lot of work and time as there is a level requirement (40) and a whole list of items that must be obtained before you can start a guild. Jaffa has been working on the items (I believe he has them all now) and I am working on leveling the character who will start the guild.
Please join us! The more we have working as a team before the guild is created, the better things will be after!

Wallace is a lazy fuck, so he hasn't posted this here himself. Anyway, here are the latest scheduled games (on the other hand he was un-lazy enough to compile a level pack for the tournament):
| Round III |
Australia | - | Slovenia | (2nd Mar, 12.00 GMT) | Belgium | - | Romania | (2nd Mar, 17.00 GMT) | Finland | - | Poland | (2nd Mar, 18.00 GMT) | Germany | - | Netherlands | (3rd Mar, 17.00 GMT) | Israel | - | Italy | (3rd Mar, 18.00 GMT) | | Sweden | - | United Kingdom | (4th Mar, 18.00 GMT) | |
The following games remain unplayed from earlier rounds:
| Round I | |
Australia | - | United Kingdom | Belgium | - | Sweden | Finland | - | Slovenia | Germany | - | Romania |
| Round II | Poland | - | Germany | Romania | - | Finland | Slovenia | - | Belgium | Sweden | - | Australia | United Kingdom | - | Italy |
Let's get it over with, people Oh, and congratulations to The Netherlands for beating Israel with 2-0 in rounds (feel free to fill me in on the actual scores, which I forgot eventhough R3p told me about the game) on BloodBunny's Lair and Jungle's Edge!
On another note, Cataphract just made an interesting upload, namely: "Layer extractor - an implementation in C". Among his previous accomplishments is a GIP-script, which modified for use on the CC-site (currently not in use). Didn't notice earlier, but our own OLsen was mentioned on J2O's frontpage in the beginning of this month for this: Carrotus Fix, which he made with his friend Zaps. The most recent upload that could be atleast remotely interesting when it comes to levels/tilesets is IC-IF Medivo, by Impressive Creations - which currently is rated 8.6.

Memberlist changes and ongoing tournaments on JJ2

As expected the ranking system for jj2 members boosted our activity, along with the skill of several members. Also, it apparently separated the sheep from the goats, as several of players left us. The first one was Slayer, who left because he was nott promoted to the status of Alpha warteam, and felt he should have been, eventhough he lacked (and lacks) the required skill. After some week of blackmailing and constant nudging he finally left. He also asked a couple of his friends to follow him (I am unsure which one of those I like the least), which they did - those being Dejman, Medivo and Sticker/Maximus.
Fortunately, those traitors were not the only people that have joined our clan in the latest months (and some of them are actually becoming quite skilled). As none of them had a proper welcome, I thought I'd list some of them: Blazer, Enrico, Riccardo, Saphir, Dideledodo, Excabus, NovaStar, Shinto, Toggrok and OrangeBlood.
Out on the bigger jj2 arena, there are several tournaments going on. One 3vs3 tournament arranged by Sucer where players could form teams as they wanted, which seems to be sort of failing. One duel tournament arranged by Quickz, which seems to work out okay so far (however personally I am too lazy to finish my duels >:)). And lastly the 3on3 tournament for National Teams arranged by Wallace has just begun, where Poland expectedly beat Israel, and Italy just as expectedly lost to the Netherlands. Lots of CCers are playing in all those tournaments, so let us wish one another good luck!^^ Furthermore, congrats to Vegito who won his second shared jj2wc duel tournament first place! And oh yeah, he left us - Veg, that is.
The level making scene sucks as of recent. All of j2o's download page is filled with spam levels, tests and hotels by RandomTSFnoob2k7. There hasn't been any real utility releases either for a while (except Jazz2 Express Starter, which was the worst in history). I know for a fact though, that some people are still working on great stuff, for example a dedicated server utilitity (Neobeo and Overlord), and 1.23+ (BlurredD and me, although I have been horribly unmotivated recently).
Expanded clanscence: VS got some members from CC (aforementioned traitors), lots of new clans that noone bothers remembering the names of have popped up on TSF. I expect to see some improvements from those clans in the future though, especially since so many unexpected teams managed to get assembled for the National Tournament (Romania and Germany, to name two). No idea if 8D changed, and RR is still dead.
Ceterum censeo Carthaginem esse delendam - and that you should hang out more in #craccoclan.

There have been several changes through the site, as you can see, the news page is replaced by a improved script, and you are now able to place comments. Before you post any article or comment, read this topic.
Also, note the sitemap on the left where you can acess all of the sites hosted on the Craccoclan.com network.
Changes to the JJ2 Division

After the match against 8D, Chiyu and I concluded that CC is not strong enough to completely dominate the jj2 scene anymore. Therefore we have decided on trying to form a new strong warteam, aside from our constant endeavours to improve the clan atmosphere (let's end the fighs plz).
Most importantly, we have formalised the division's ranking system! The active members, without a special rank such as GameLeader, CoLeader or Legend, have been divided into three pools: the Alpha warteam, the Beta warteam and Normal members. This is meant to motivate you all to train harder, to gain a higher rank. If you are on the Alpha warteam, that means your chances to play in a clanwar are very high, while if you are on the Beta warteam, your rank just serves as a indicator telling everyone that we think you might have what it takes to soon become an Alpha member if you try hard. If you are "just a normal member", and would rather join the Beta team, just start practicing teamplay a lot - and soon your improvements will be noted, and your rank increased. Please note, all of you, that there is no limit to how many Alpha or Beta members we can have - the point of this is, afterall, to make CC stronger as a whole by bringing more activeness to the division and more skill to the members.
Also, Wallace, who has been active in CC for quite some time now, has on my suggestion been made JJ2 Vice-GameLeader, which is a recognition of his lately made improvements skillwise, and his recent efforts to recruit new JJ2ers, and give them good training.
On a sidenote, Snooze was made MS GameLeader. Congratulations!
So, everyone, go check out the memberslist, stay friends, play lots of jj2 and have fun!!! :)
A semi-official new division

I've decided to turn my RPG-creating team into a CC division, into a more general game creating division. Two reasons for this; 1. it will make it easier to recruit new members who could help with the RPG, speeding up the progress and 2. it would make it easy to start a new project from our group of merry men. Non-CCers who want to help on the games are welcome in the GameCreation Division, but of course they can also help with the game(s?) without joining the clan. I think the division has a lot of potential! So I'll start off by asking, who wants to join my team for Mikkoku2? Drawers, spriters and composers are always needed ;). For now the division will not be counted as a full division like Platform/Strategy/Roleplaying/Console, and it will not generate any ECC'ers as long as there is only project we're working on.
On a sidenote, Vegito's rank changed from CoLeader to Administrator. This means he lost all formal power in the gaming division, but his power at the forums and the IRC channel are formalised. He will focus on administrating and managing both. So behave, or he'll know where to find you!
Another victory against 8D!

Yesterday, Grytolle, Vegito and me fought a clanwar against our rival 8D. Both clans picked one level; we opted for Jungle's Edge, they opted for Distopia. In December we played a tiebreaker round - which would decide the victor in the rare occasion of a draw - which was won by 8D.
So we tried really hard in order to not lose or get a tie. The first round was played in Jungle's Edge. It was really close. I can't describe it any better than Grytolle himself already did: "We got, ready, started, everything went as it should and CC quickly had 3-0. I had the feeling we were in total control of the game the entire time, and we were close to getting 4-0 serveral times. The game never really turned to 8D's favour but somehow they managed to squeeze in a weird score every now and then without CC really knowing how it went. So, before we knew it the score was 3-3, then finally we managed to score our 4th score and I could feel that victory was near. But not! 8D nicely scored 4-4, and then they got a score that all player admitted was "lol timing/luck", but the game was over. GG 8D had won that round with 5-4."
The second round however, went really smooth. I'll quote Vegito, who sums it up shortly and nicely: "N/C G.G in 10 minutes if it wasn't less." Sucer from 8D adds to this: "In this level the CrC RTS'er again ALWAYS had the Seek PU and it was quite hard to go R, because I didn't have any concentration left. It was quite a fast 5-0 win for them which was actualyl quite surprising to me."
Counting up the scores (4-5 and 5-0), this results in a 9-5 victory for CC's Alpha Team! The score looks a lot like the score we got against 8D last time we fought them (10-5). It proves that 8D is a worthy opponent. The results also prove that CC is still strong and dominating on JJ2.
However, 8D (and Grytolle with them) claims that they have won the clanwar. In short, it happened because Grytolle wanted to offer them a compromise to count the score by counting the rounds instead of the scores (which would mean 1-1, and because of the tiebreaker, 2-1 for them). I greatly objected to this deal when he came up with it because I knew that it would be too risky for CC, already weeks before the clanwar started. But Grytolle ignored that and went ahead and told them anyway. While it is true that DivisionLeaders and GameLeaders have a certain autonomy when it comes to making decisions, a Leader or CoLeader can always outrule them!
To read the full story, including the vote ECC considering what we would do with the clanwar, go here. However, since we cannot blame our friends of the 8th Dimension for believing that Grytolle's compromise was official and authorized and we are fair, we would not have any problems with them registering the clanwar as a victory for them, as long as they offer CC's view on the clanwar too. 8D should not be the victim of an intern problem in CC, but naturally, CC shouldn't be either; we earned and deserve this victory.
All the misunderstandings aside, I'm very proud of the results and would like to congratulate Grytolle and Vegito too for doing a good job during the clanwar! And GG 8D!
Changes in the Roleplaying Division

Happy new year all!
The Roleplaying division is stagnating. In order to solve this problem, Jaffa will be the new Roleplaying DivisionLeader, watching over the two (or three) subdivisions. The future of MS (MapleStory) is still shrouded in shadows.
Although there's also hope for the Roleplaying division. We're getting a new subdivision known as Flyff as soon as the members meet the money requirements for starting a new guild. It will be lead by Benjd. There's also a big chance that Runescape will be revived with a fresh new crew. Romanim's brother is trying to assemble a team, which would then be enriched by Vegito and friends.
