- 1999

Chapter 1
The beginning... A rabbit game

When CC was founded by me, CraccoBoy, in 1999, it was first called the Cracco Club.. Shortly after it was created, COOLM@N, who was CoLeader for a long time and has been loyal for a long time, joined it. Not long after that we recruited more members. The Cracco Club lacked in fighting, but the clan lived a happy life, with nice members. However, when the computer of the leader, CraccoBoy (me), crashed, there was a problem. As soon as the computer was alright again, I started searching for JJ2. When I found it, I installed it, and brought the CD-rom back to the person I borrowed it from. I was quite suprised to see that there was a totally new community, with only a few old faces. Many people joined CC then. Cyberspaz, COOLM@N and me were in charge of CC back then.

- 2000

Chapter 2
The Secret Files

However, I later came to know that this wasn't the JJ2 I've been playing on. This was 1.24 (TSF, The Secret Files) instead of 1.23. When I later got 1.23 back in the start of 2000, many things have changed. Many people left JJ2, and there weren't many members of CC left either. With COOLM@N (who was one of the few leftovers), I began to re-establish CC as a 1.23 clan, but also trying to keep it active on TSF. CC's name was changed to Cracco Clan instead of Cracco Club, and the members became better and better. We recruited a lot of members in those good ol' times. Shortly after the Cracco Clan was reformed; new site, new rules, new ranking system and new look. This was the spring, and early summer of 2000.

Chapter 3
From alliances to clan groups

Everything was going smoothly in CC. We already had some allies before, but they meant nothing really. True and worthy alliances started to appear in this summer. TEC (The Elemental Clan), lead by Gale, has been the most influental of them. In the summer and autumn of 2000, TEC had a lot of members. However, this wasn't the only ally CC got. Another clan appeared, the Ultra Rabbits, with Jazz as leader (they were also allied with TEC). TEC came with the idea to create a clangroup (federation) to strengthen the close alliance between the three clans, CC, TEC, UR. CC agreed, UR did too. This new clangroup was called CTU (named after the three clans), and promised to play a important role in the future of the three clans. All the clans inside CTU were automatically allied with eachother. PR (Poké Raiders), lead by Mama and Dutchraider, and NB (Ninja Boys), leaded by Ninja (now known as Optic) and CrazyR, joined the clangroup. Later, SB (Sand Bunnies) by Gargoyle and A$ (All Stars) by Ryu joined us, which were both promising clans. Much later, CTU got more members, GP, FD, MB and FC. This made us get a total of 11 clans. Which made it look pretty much like one uber clan to a lot of people. We would later get a CTU site with links to the site of all the CTU clans.

Chapter 4
The first trainings

Back to CC itself. More players kept joining the clan. But most of the older members still lacked fighting skills. So CC came with a special ranking system designed for trainings, clanwars and organisation in the clan. Each CC member had the opportunity to choose a "class", which each came with a special training program. Monk (specialising in kicking, buttstomping and upcutting), Knight (just normally using mostly your gun, and collecting special ammo), Piranha (specialising in fighting in water), Falcon (specialising in fighting in the air, copter or airboard), Guard (specialising guarding places or people, for example the CTF bases) and Cavalry (specialising in dodging attacks and fast attacking). This system was invented in the summer of 2000, and lasted till the winter. It may not have been that succesful in building up skills, but it was fun and made our clan more active...

Chapter 5
The first clanwar and site

JJ2 was slightly losing its popularity, and most CTU clans died out. By the end of 2000, CTU only had CC, TEC and FC left. So we had to rely more on individual strength. Our efforts did pay off. Around these times, CC won its first official clanwar, the one against CM (Combat Mercenaries), in battle. We got a CC homestead site, which was running fine. Near the end of 2000, someone called Snake joined CC. Snake brought his friend, Neo, leader of USP to JJ2, and he joined CC too. Snake later left, but Neo and his clan became loyal to CC. Neo's clan, USP, was later called TNC (The New Craccos), named after the Cracco Clan. Neo was promoted to General (a higher rank, sort of like a GameLeader now). All in all, 2000 was a good year in which we got to know members with important roles like Bink, Rossboy, Da Viper, Hellraiser and Heretic (then known as Dope).

- 2001

Chapter 6
Renewing CTU and introducing GameLeaders

TEC was slowly regaining their old popularity back, and UR was recreated too, when Jazz came back. UR rejoined CTU, TNC joined CTU, and FC left CTU. This was the start of 2001. Another clan joined the alliance, called LD, Legend of Dragoons, lead by Zieg and his right-hand MattW. This revived CTU, and CC, TEC, UR, TNC and LD stayed in it. CC was becoming better, and bad players were no longer allowed in; the tryout to get in CC was made harder. I was gone for a few days in the start of 2001, and COOLM@N, replaced me, like a CoLeader should. The start of 2001 was great, barely any members left our clan. Also, Hellraiser aka Raiser was voted to be the first official JJ2 GameLeader. CC has had a GameLeader on each game ever since.

Chapter 7
The fall of CTU

Later that year, another clangroup appeared, called GoC (Gathering of Clans). GoC claimed that CTU was the community apart. Sadly, it turned into some flamewars between the five CTU clans (CC, TEC, UR, TNC and LD) and the five GoC clans (GpW, EM, DL, * and A$). CC kept its alliance with * (the Hybrids), all the time though, based on alliance that started in the autumn of 2000. GoC didn't last very long. A lot of people were frustated by what GoC did, especially the members of the clan TEC. There were more things the clan TEC didn't like about the JJ2 community those days and TEC (TEC-1) died and most members left JJ2.. CTU was originally TEC's idea, so it was also the end of the extremely succesful CTU. A clangroup that survived for more than a year. That summer, the leader of LD left too, and later all the remaining LD members left it. We stayed allied with UR and TNC, and LB, Stunner's clan in memory of TEC.

Chapter 8
A new age

In the beginning of the autumn, no unusual things happened. A few months later, Bolt, the old GameLeader of TEC came back to JJ2 and succeeded to remake TEC (TEC-2). However, the new TEC couldn't become as popular as the old TEC once was. They still were a reliable ally for CC though. Coming closer to the end of 2001, CC also started to play official Capture The Flag matches, mostly in Diamondus Warzone (a level). Our first warteam was CraccoBoy, Nazgul, Kill/Swift, Winsock/Alberto, Tidus and Neo. We were searching for a clan to challenge for our first official CTF clanwar (the one vs. CM was battle). JOL (Jazz2 On-Line) accepted, and so we held the friendly clanwar at 30 december, and won with 10-0. From this point on, the Cracco Clan planned to do more clanwars in CTF. And ofcourse, try to do a clanwar at the end of every year so we have something to celebrate on New Year's Eve!

- 2002

Chapter 9
The CCMB and the birth of XÐ

So, 2002 arrived. Probably the best year of our clan so far. We updated the site a lot, and got our own Message Board, the CCMB (with a lot of posts and members). Usually before the news got to the news section on the site, it could already be seen on the CCMB. In 2002, we did five clanwars and won 'em all. TNC and Tbt in January, NW and CM (this time in CTF) in May and lastly TRC in December. In 2002, CC had 2 allies. TEC and XÐ, led by BunnyElmer and his CoLeader Sauron/Nightmare. XD (Xtreme Dreambunnies) was the succesor to the old clan Tbt (The Bunny Tec). Tbt/XD was very important for CC, as a lot of important members originally came from that clan; BunnyElmer/Anakin, Vegito, SonGohan/Warrior and SpyBunny for example.

Chapter 10
Member activities and member changes

A lot of members in the Cracco Clan made a lot of new levels, tilesets, programs and came up with gamemodes/concepts this year. Sadly some members of our old cast left CC this year, including our co-leader COOLM@N. COOLM@N/Hikari first got demoted from his position as CoLeader because a lot of CC members felt that he wasn't doing his best anymore and wasn't active enough. A few months later, he left. We replaced him by Neo. Tidus and Kill (our old warteam members) also left CC for a while, but they both rejoined later. We recruited some very useful members this year. ET and Jackass started making tilesets (or levels) for/with CC and Q proved himself very useful in making programs and hosting the CC site for a while. 2002 just was a very good year with rarely any negative things for our clan. The only bad thing that happened that I can think is that some members left us.

- 2003

Chapter 11
Sub-clans

And a new year came for the clan. A bad start by losing against FoR with 3-10 on the first day of it. After that, things were getting better again. CC members were allowed to multiclan with TEC-2, so we were able to take our revenge on FoR under TEC later in a 3-2 clanwar. A lot of member changes the following months. In March, we were planning to do a clanwar vs our old rival GpW, but sadly this never got pulled off. To have more training matches on JJ2 I came with the idea of making sub-clans (which would fight eachother). A lot of people liked the idea but I had to abandon it later, because it wasn't working out too well.

Chapter 12
Expansions and meetings

On the 15th of April we expanded to Seven Kingdoms 2 with PsyRabber as gameleader. But apart from Slasher/Rage, SonGohan/Warrior, PsyRabber/Jippo and a couple of others, no CC members played this and we couldn't find any other clans who played it so we didn't stay long on it. Up to this point we've also done a couple of CC real life parties south in the Netherlands, and now we had a combined CC/XD real life party in the north of the Netherlands. It was a lot of fun and we would have much more CC and CC real life parties after it. These months, CC was slowly getting less active on JJ2, so on the 9th of May we expanded to another game. Ragnarok Online. This was a very succesful move. We've had more expansions to other games (Age of Empires 2, Metal Knights, Nexus, Seven Kingdoms 2) but they were all just a little succesful... Our first crew on RO was CraccoBoy, Neo, Suiko, Shoganate, BunnyElmer, Ixey, Raid and Nightmare. Many more people would join though. We were very active on RO from May till July, but sadly, the JJ2 division was suffering from this. CC never officially died on JJ2 but almost no CC member was to be seen in a JJ2 server. Nobody knows what gameleader Kill has been doing in all those months, but it was not much it seems.

Chapter 13
Rebuilding the JJ2 Division

In early August, I decided to come back to the JJ2 division. I cleared the memberlist of the JJ2 division and talked to some 'old' members from before the months of inactivity if they wanted to stay in it/rejoin now that we were going to be very active on it again. I re-recruited members like Mariek, Tublear, Slasher/Rage, Darklight, Piccolo, Guzz/Insanity, MattW, PsyRabber, SpearMan, Link, Tidus and GoldRabbit. CC also got some brand new members. Not long after I returned to JJ2, Ironlight, Labratkid, Stiletto, and Foo (although he has been in a long time before) joined. A few weeks later Nazgul rejoined and Nightmare joined (although he has been in a long time ago before as well). There have been some member changes in August/September, and we've done and won three more clanwars. A Teambattle one versus RHSP, a CTF one versus RHSP and a CTF one versus MT. CC was doing well on both Jazz Jackrabbit2 and Ragnarok Online at this moment, after some hard times in 2003. Still, 2003 was a very active year (lotsa clanwars), so I can't complain. Shame that both our friends TEC(-2) and XÐ died though. Our leading team became Leader CraccoBoy, CoLeader Neo, JJ2 GameLeader Kill and RO GameLeader Nightmare. This is when the brand new Cracco Clan site was completed (layout by Nightmare, info by CraccoBoy), the site you're viewing now (although the lay-out was changed later in 2004).

- 2004

Chapter 14
CCXSD?

It was a year with up and downs. Most of the year was GREAT for the clan, but there was some trouble in the last few months. In the first months, we started to cooperate with XSÐ, Yasco and Squirrel's clan. We had a good friendship with them and played a lot of JJ2 together. Eventually we made the CC XSÐ multi-clanning treaty (some people thought CCXSÐ became one clan, which is not true). Much like in the old CTU clangroup, our members allowed to be in eachother's clans. Although each member had to choose its "main" clan, for clanwars and such. This treaty lasted a long while, some of the XSÐ members even decided to stay in CC when it was ended. Later on, when the clan died and was recreated as DT, we stopped multi-clanning with them but we did stay allies.

Chapter 15
Succesful new divisions and less succesful new divisions

We got a Gunbound, Warcraft3 and Unreal Tournament division but these didn't last very long. Plans to expand to Guild Wars or Delta Force have never worked out either. My thanks to Stiletto, Moonblaze, Gogeta, Mechanic and Urnust though, who did their best as GameLeaders. Sadly, the forum crashed early in the year, so we had to restart it. Not much of a problem, it shortly had more posts than it had before. We also got a Roms (later known as the SSB Division, since we began to focus on Super Smash Brothers) division. A division in which we would play N64 games online using the emulator Project64k. Very nice. During spring, a friend of school told me that he felt like making a clan for Age of Empires 2. Neo and I have played this game before as CC, it's good, tactical and fun. So I asked my school friend, "Sanderstijl", if he would like to create a AoE2 division for CC, instead of creating his own clan. He agreed, and we started training right away. The AoE2 division became really succesful around November, a lot of trainings and new members then. That's one division that's there to stay! Catz requested a Runescape division, and because A LOT of other members felt something for this, I agreed. It's still one of the largest divisions right now.

Chapter 16
From the CC Holiday to the 5th Birthday Meeting

Anyway, for the first time, we planned a CC Holiday! This was to be from the 30rd of July till the 6th of August, in Belgium. Every CC'er was welcome, but sadly only 5 were able to come (although we DID meet Scare in Belgium at Six Flags Belgium); CraccoBoy/Chiyu, BunnyElmer/Anakin, Vegito, McDragon and Stiletto. Nightmare and Stunner intended to come, but they cancelled it. It was great though! While we were gone, Scare and Nimrod kept an eye on CC. As soon as we got back, we had a clanwar with DT (third clanwar that year) which was pretty hard. Another important happening in August: the RO division was succesfully revived (keiRO, our old server had a wipe, after it was down for some time). September was a month with festivities. We had to celebrate our clan's 5th birthday so I organised the biggest CC meeting ever (until that point), with 9 CC'ers at Six Flags (Holland), meeting #27. We also hosted some nice party servers at JJ2 during this month.

Chapter 17
New friends at JJ2

In October, we got in touch with the Balcan Clan after beating them in a clanwar. A nice clan with Alex, Grytolle and Sephiroth as its best known members. A friendship alliance was formed. BC later merged with TcM to become LR, Legends Reborn. Grytolle requested help from CC like a "multiclanning treaty", one we had with TEC and XSD before. I agreed to help them out, and we had some "exchange members". Vegito, Warrior, Anakin and Chiyu played for LR as the "Silver Team". We later stopped the multiclanning treaty, but we continued to train with them. We also had a experimental Dutch newspaper for CC members around these days. Then, the site crashed and it took a month to get the webhosting back, and two months to get the domain back. In December, times were rough. CC had lost most of its good JJ2 players and many became unactive. Luckily, we still managed to win all three clanwars (LR, VS and LR), which we celebrated at new year's eve. In December, LR's better members Sephiroth and Grytolle joined us as "real members" (instead of "exchange members"), later to be followed by Yasco and Squirrel. Now that we have a good warteam, we're ready for what 2005 brings us! A year in which I shall be known as Chiyu instead of CraccoBoy and where Anakin shall be the second CoLeader, next to Neo...

- 2005

Chapter 18
The TF trainings

We had enough good players and motivation on JJ2 for a powerful comeback. GameLeader Yasco arranged a clanwar against TF, a clan which we played 19-18 against before. We were going to play this in February but that was to be delayed to March because some TF members had exams in February. Well, both months, we have been training our asses off! Especially in the levels in which we would face TF. We were determined to win this clanwar. And after two months full of training; we did. A striking 24-5 victory was to be ours, and we were proud. Let's hope we'll perform good as well during JJ2WCII (a clan tournament in April). During the first months of 2005, we also had four other pleasant happenings in our clan. First of all, we got our own Ragnarok Online server; sdRO. Secondly, we got a HALO division (lead by Neo and Dx). Thirdly, an idle server at JJ2 by Tman and finally, the CC Newspaper came back, this time 100% in English!

Chapter 19
The imperial march

We had way too many (game) divisions so we decided to limit this down to 3. Jazz Jackrabbit 2, Age of Empires 2 and Lineage 2. This made it easier for members to focus on 1 game in CC. In April, JJ2WCII started. Our strategy was going to rely on Chiyu & Grytolle as the "base" team, each time assisted by either Vegito, Anakin or Yasco. Some people saw us as the underdogs, but a lot of people already saw CC as one of the finalists before the tournament even started. And indeed we made it to the finals, after succesfully beating our old rival, GpW (10-2), VS (13-4), the clan that defeated us before, FoR (19-4) and in the semi-finals, LB (17-2). Then in the finals, we faced VS, again, for the fifth time in CC history. With a smashing 16-6 victory, the Cracco Clan won the JJ2WC2. Some of our members helped the LB clan, which got to the fourth place! We surely had to work for it though, we barely played any other games and trained the levels which were going to be played like there was no tomorrow. Afterwards, we began recruiting a lot of new players (mostly from LR and LB) to keep our clan active and get a fresh warteam line-up later.

Chapter 20
Good times

Winning JJ2WCII gave our clan a major boost. Many people (mostly from former LR) joined our JJ2 division during May and June, and other members like Messiah and Gr33n Plant joined us in July/August/September. We also introduced a brand new division that month (July). We introduced the so-called IRL division, which consists of console games, focussing on Super Smash Brothers (Melee), as a warming up for a later online console division with the release of the next generation consoles scheduled for 2006/2007. In June, Chiyu, from CC, and ChippieBW, from 8D, came up with the idea to create a new clangroup. This clangroup was going to be called CKA, the Cyber Knights Alliance. It would be a sequal to the old clangroup CTU, but then better organised and with better purposes. Sasik's clan VS joined CKA as well. The site, with all participating clans and objectives on it can be viewed at http://www.cka.ncmv.net. We replaced Lineage2 with Runescape again, because Runescape was so much more played in CC.

Chapter 21
A major shift

CC's reign on JJ2 wasn't over yet. We had something special in mind for JDC11 (JDC: a kind of individual tournament, has been taking place for years); taking the top 5 places. And we succeeded! 1. Vegito, 2. Chiyu, 3. Messiah, 4. Grytolle and 5. Spybunny. Our alliance with 8D and VS (in the CKA clangroup) ended, but we got an alliance with RR (Rabbit Roasters, Jerry's clan) in return. We also got some new members like Umba (a teambattle specialist). After this, our clan began to become less and less active at Jazz Jackrabbit 2. The JJ2 division would not be going to be abandoned, but it was clear that it was time for something new in CC. So far for JJ2 news... In November, Age of Empires III was released, and as planned a year before already, we expanded to it. In no-time, the AoE3 division surpassed the old JJ2 division in terms of activity. A lot of players were recruited in November and December and by the end of the year, our [SwD] (Silver Winged Dragons, as our clan is called on Age of Empires 3) team completely developed itself as an extremely succesful division, seperate from JJ2. This is the major shift we witnessed; the focus that has been on JJ2 for years, has moved to AoE3 (and partially RS). We won't forget JJ2, but it's no longer the only division that binds our clan together and keeps it alive!

- 2006

Chapter 22
Revolution and Domination

A new Strategy division was added: Civilization IV. At the same time, [SwD] thrived. Lots of people joined the AoE3 team and we did a clanwar against our Dutch rival, [NFF]. The Silver winged Dragons (G Joker and Chiyu) defeated the Netherlands Fighting Force on the map Pampas. A few weeks after the clanwar, the division began to stagnate a little. At the end of March, there was a big crisis in SwD. Some members, most notably EXTREEM and The Dutch Army, left the team and this caused a lot of members to follow them (although TDA returned later). The point was clear: SwD was full of unloyal people who didn't give a rat's ass about CC. The core of SwD replied to this 'revolution' by leaving SwD as well and creating a new clan. From the ashes of SwD, ORF arised (Order of the Rising Flame; a rather symbolic name). Since April on, ORF embodied the AoE3 division; a division with less, but more loyal members than before. While Age of Empires 3 was suffering from this crisis, another division experienced a revival: Jazz Jackrabbit 2. Once again, our warteam was training hard like we did for the clanwar against TF and JJ2WC2 earlier. This was because we had arranged a clanwar with our rival 8D on the 30th of April. The 8th Dimension is more or less the new version of the XSD. Since the succesful JJ2WC2, the clan scene on JJ2 was dominated mostly by CC, 8D and VS, and We already defeated VerSus during JJ2WC2. In a tough and exciting clanwar, CC managed to beat 8D with 10-5. With this great result, CC reaffirmed its position as world champion on Jazz Jackrabbit 2.

Chapter 23
Meeting craze

Hosting meetings regularly has been part of CC's tradition for quite some years now. But in comparison to 2002 and 2003, there weren't that many (succesful) meetings in 2004 and 2005. The second half of 2006 was going to make things different again. August had no less than 3 official CC meetings, and it didn't end there! CC meetings seemed to turn into a monthly procedure again. The most succesful of all these meetings was, without a doubt, the CC Summer Weekend from the 18th of August to the 21th of August. 12 CC'ers showed up at the meeting, which was a new record (we had 11 at a previous CC Birthday meeting). It was also the first really international meeting as it was held in Germany instead of in the Netherlands, and Grytolle and Umba showed up as well. However, not everyhing went over roses. CC's popular mascott, Shaney, moved to a house without internet. His disappearance did not stop the spread of Shaneyism (= a style of culture/comedy; talking and acting like Shaney and using his famous quote). Quite the contrary. Shaney's popularity grew and grew, comparable to what happened to Elvis' popularity after he died.

Chapter 24
Organisatorial changes

First of all; we got a new game to the clan called MapleStory. Anyway, October and November were months that brought along great changes to the structure of the clan. As a result, the clan has been divided in four 'uber' divisions; Platform, Strategy, Roleplaying and Console. Each division has its own games and its own DivisionLeader in charge of it (each game, or subdivision still has its own seperate GameLeader). These DivisionLeaders have relatively much autonomy. They are free to add new games to their division as long as it fits the genre and as long as they can get 6 or more people. They can also manage the division's part on the site as they want to. I (Chiyu) have written a short ECC guide which explains in detail what the responsibilities and tasks of all the CoLeaders, DivisionLeaders and GameLeaders are. New people were given new positions. In November, Runescape was dropped after having been unactive for quite some time. In general, the clan was doing well and mostly Jazz Jackrabbit 2 and Age of Empires 3 were attracting new, valuable members.

- 2007

Chapter 25
Crisis at JJ2

2007 started well with a very nice new year's eve CC meeting at Umba's house in Germany. We also reinstalled cutenews at the CC site so every game/divisionleader could easily post news if he/she wanted to. It was still hard to predict 2007 would turn out to be one of the worst years for CC up to date. Age of Empires III was still semi-dead and Civilization IV was slowly becoming less active as well. MapleStory had died out and some attempts to revive RuneScape once more failed as well. In order to save the Roleplaying division, a new game was added: FlyFF. FlyFF didn't really get off the ground for the first few months though. The big crisis that would dominate the first half of 2007 took place in our Jazz Jackrabbit 2 division though. Since late 2006, we've been arranging a clanwar against 8D. From the start, there has been a lot of controversy about it. I won't delve into details here, but the main misunderstanding was about whether we should count the clanwar by scores or rounds. By scores, CC would have won (with 9-5) but by rounds, 8D had won (with 2-1). Both clans claiming victory obviously caused tensions between our clans. It was in this hostile environment that our prized warteam member Vegito left CC and joined 8D. Grytolle replaced Vegito as general administrator of the Cracco Clan and Maverick took his place in the (Alpha) warteam. Grytolle and I got together to reorganise the division and divided all non-ECC members into three ranks: Alpha, Beta and Normal members. This was meant to motivate the members and make them more active, and it worked. A National Tournament was created on JJ2, but it wasn't finished. Since lots of CC'ers were involved in that tournament, it did help to make the division more active though. At the same time, the conflict regarding the clanwar against 8D continued and Jaffa proposed to put a (temporary) ban on Vegito in April. The majority of ECC agreed and the conflict was put to rest. The crisis was never resolved though.

Chapter 26
Fly For Fun's rise & #craccoclan

In April, things started to look better for CC again when JJ2WC3 started. CC signed up with three teams for JJ2WC3; CC (the main warteam), RL (Rising Legends) and BotS (Bitches of the Shane). Sadly, this tournament died out soon as well, but we did however, beat DM with 22-4 (or 2-0) in May. DM is a well respected 'oldies' clan that we had never faced before and a clan that has been one of CC's rivals ever since they were created. During this active period, we also recruited a number of new members. The ban on Vegito was lifted and he rejoined us in AoE2 and SSB. April was also the month when the FlyFF (Fly for Fun) division became really active. After Ragnarok Online, this was the most active MMORPG division CC ever had. A new Shooter subdivision was born as well: Counter-Strike 1.6 (in addition to Unreal Tournament 2004). CS1.6 was divided into two teams, a Dutch one lead by Jinzo and a Swedish one lead by datorStol. The initial success of these two divisions has much to owe to #craccoclan (our IRC channel), which for the first time ever served it's purpose as as a central meeting point where all divisions got together (however; at the same time the forums became inactive as hell). We even got sponsors who gave us bouncers and two warservers for CS1.6. Chryton bought us a UT2k4 warserver as well and I bought the www.craccoclan.nl domain for us. The major success of these two months would not last very long though.

Chapter 27
A nice gesture followed by regression

In June, CC decided to ally with the JJ2 clan RR. This resulted in much protest from the JJ2 community (RR's other ally, 8D in particular), which proved us that the clan situation was still tense. In order to resolve some of these tensions, I decided to alter CC's clanwar results page and (despite my personal feelings) declare the clanwar against 8D as a victory for them rather than a victory for CC. This statement can be read here: http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/showthread.php?t=16884. This gesture was well received and the crisis on JJ2 from January finally came to an end. Since many people (including ourselves) felt that CC had way too many members at JJ2 and this was damaging the clan scene, Grytolle and I decided to clean up the JJ2 roster. Many members were removed and only the most loyal, active and nicest CC'ers were kept. A veto right regarding new members was given to every CC member as well to prevent unwanted members from coming in. In July, a long period of regression kicked in. We tried to make the Strategy division active again with a training roster for the summer holidays. It worked for a few weeks, but then the division stagnated again. In September, Jaffa (temporarily) stopped with FlyFF which marked the end of FlyFF's golden age. In October, Anakin tried to revive Ragnarok Online once more, but so far this hasn't been very succesful either. Nothing worthwile happened in the JJ2 division either, although it never really stagnated like the other divisions did. As for me, I've been suffering from a depression from September till December, which has prevented me from being an active leader or player in any of the divisions. All in all, the second half of 2007 was not very good for CC. But as things are looking now, 2008 will be better again!
