- About Jazz Jackrabbit 2
JJ2 is a 2D action game, a interesting game with many possibilities. Do you want to play a plain battle game, or do you prefer a racing game? Would you like to cooperate against enemies, or fight against eachother? Well, here is some information about the game, Jazz Jack Rabbit 2.

Jazz Jack Rabbit 2 (JJ2) is the sequal to the popular game Jazz Jack Rabbit (JJ1). In 1993, a team started working on JJ1, and in 1994, version 1.0 came out. In 1996/1997 the team began to work on JJ2, which got released in 1998, first in Europe, then in America. Arjan Brussee was the Lead Progammer, Michiel Ouwehand another progammer while Nick Stadler did the art, animation and design. Jon MacLellan and Cliff Bleszinski designed the levels, but Cliff Bleszinski was also the Co-producer. Alexander Brandon did the music, and Nando Eweg the sound effects. Scotty Cone also worked on the art and animation, like Nick Stadler. Robert A. Allen was the producer, and Carlo Vogelsang the Sound Engine Progammer. Dean Dodrill did the cinema animation.

Version 1.20 was released in Europe, and 1.22 in America. But, both could be upgraded to 1.23, and they were compatible with eachother, thus european people can play with american people online. The patch 1.23 was made to fix bugs. Later an independent game, The Secret Files (1.24), was released. It uses the same engine, but you can't visit 1.23 servers with 1.24, and vice versa. Lori made her appearance in TSF, she was the sister of Jazz and Spaz (the other playable characters). Sadly, the official site is no longer updated anymore. Hopefully there'll be a good fan-site about the game some day!
