| - About Super Smash Bros SSB is a game created by Nintendo. Its basicly a platform game which is in 3D, you can play up to 4 players and the goal is to win (DUH), you fight with other players and when you hit a enemy player his dmg % grows and your goal is to knock him out of the screen, so when you hit someone at 10 % dmg he wont fall away really far, but when you hit someone on 80 % he will almost fall out of the screen. The game is fun since you can actually activly fight yourself which makes the gameplay really fun and there are a lot of different attacks to use on evrey character, and evrey character has its own 3 special techniques or attacks and its own way of moving, so for example Kirby can fly, DK is slow etc. The characters are, of course, what makes this game interesting. All the characters that have made Nintendo what it is today are represented, including Mario, Link, Samus Aran, Donkey Kong, and Pikachu. There are eight characters to choose from initially, and four more hidden characters to unlock. The game's backgrounds also reflect the various characters' natural envirornments: The Starfox stage is complete with buzzing Arwings, while Link's stage looks somewhat like a castle. The game's music is also pretty amazing, with tunes lifted directly from past games. So you'll hear the Legend of Zelda overworld theme, the world-famous Super Mario Bros. tune, and other little pieces of incidental music, like the SMB star music and the Donkey Kong hammer tune. ![]() The single player is basicly boring, there is no story in it, its just an acrade way of fighting trough rounds VS different enemies. Its the multiplayer mode that makes ssb so cool. Next to that, there are also items in the game, like a bat to smash players completly out of the screen, or an heart peace from zelda, to completly heal yourself. Altrough the game is not really easy to get used to in the start it will be fun and worth it to play. This game is an absolute must for the N64 users, especially for the ones who like multiplayer games. ![]() |
