Concept by Chiyu
Compare "Quest" levels to RPGs or adventure games. They usually have a storyline, although the focus is on the gameplay.
There's a certain "goal" in each level, in most cases this is to collect trigger zones/trigger crates.
Usually these kind of levels come in packs, but there are also some stand-alone levels.
The levels from "Save The Sheep" and onwards, are better known as the WoC or Godaikoku (which literally means "the Five Powers", in Japanese) pack, which all share the same objective; collect 5 specific objects.

A classic. Many consider LoC to the crown of my earlier work, for it's innovative gameplay and fun factor. Like Hellraiser once said; "don’t expect eye popping graphics".
A terrible coin curse, was casted by the Evil Sage, who has teamed up with the three evil knights; Shader, Fright and Darco, fugitives in the Kingdom of Delaes. By doing this they have control over all the elements and can do whatever they like. What you have to do in this level is travel to different worlds and collect 32 trigger boxes which each represent an element and a coin. If you have collected them, the seal will be broken and the journey will be over.
I started working on this in 2000, and first made 5 coins in the level (to introduce the idea), which I originally called "Cracco Land". Not much later, I updated it to 15 coins, and many people liked the level. I got many requests for making a sequel and in 2001, I decided to work on the level again, and so I added the new areas the moon, the hell and the heaven, and I created the golden earth and the holy time quests (the level had a total of 26 coins). Not much later, I made the secret valley, a land that is between death and life, with 6 coins, including the hard Thunder and Dragon quests. In the end I had to remove the Dragon quest though, since the level was bugged with 32 triggers used. So in the final version, the way of getting the Dragon coin is much easier!
In the pack I added the levels that were created to get background information of the storyline of LoC, but they're not really worth checking out, unless you're a collector/fan; Ruines (CC.j2t), Build Up (CE.j2t), Homittle (CLC.j2t), Delaes (CC.j2t), Hideout (CLC.j2t), FORT (CC.j2t) and Coin (CE.j2t).
Some people may consider the full version to be too long and hard (yes, the final version IS very hard), therefor I included multiple versions in this pack.
* Cracco Land.j2l (CBTG.j2t) - the original version with 5 coins; Wind ~ Nature.
* Cracco LoCa.j2l (CC.j2t) - the second upgrade with 15 coins; Wind ~ Power.
* Cracco LoC.j2l (CE2.j2t) - heaven, hell and secret valley added, with 32 coins; Wind ~ Dragon.

COOLM@N created a spin-off of LoC, but a quest in itself. After all, in both the LoC and the TaD storyline, "Darco" is one of the main villains (although you can perfectly ignore the storylines for each Quest level if you want).
Although it's a pretty unknown level, it's a nice challenge nonetheless.

One of COOLM@N's spin-offs of LoC, and a very good one at that. The objective is to rescue a girl's brother called Ratil and his pet chocobo. You have to crawl through a dark cave and solve evil puzzles to do this. Good luck!

A rather strange level. You're in a large dungeon, every door is a warp. By choosing the right doors, you can find the 7 ancient monsters, Balexcidium, Possosium, Dimpetum, Godium, Nefastignum, Vegatarius and Spiritus, who will then lead you to the dark summoned monster Diablos. You need a really good memory if you want to beat this, since every time you pick a wrong door, you will have to remember how you got there so you can then try another one.
Included in the pack is the sequal, Diablos on the loose!!! (CD.j2t), which honestly is a bit too easy and unoriginal, but you might still want to try it out. It's been three years since Diablos escaped from his dungeon, and he has gathered seven new minions; Dragunitus, Terrorus, Doomfangum, Trituvatias, Giganticus, Flarulevum and Hitaxum! Evil.

Serpentra is a sea dragon who, according to the stories, was responsible for the destruction of the prosperous city of Lucean, many centuries ago. Could it be true that this monster is back, and can he be found and beaten this time around? Explore the mysterious depths of the Dark Ocean to finish the quest!

Drangus, the evil king of a malicious tribe of dragons, the flamizards, has been terrorising Snowdust Village for years. Rumours have it that the ancestors of the village were humans, but were turned into snowmen by Drangus' evil sorcery.
This time the village is really in peril. Drangus has killed Snowdust's king Waltzeg and the flamizards have taken all of the castle guard's prisoner! In all the confusion over, Drangus casted a spell on the royal castle, freezing it over. Without a leader, without a castle, the snowmen are clueless of what to do. It's up to you to remove the spell on the castle, make the snowdust inhabitants trust you and free the captured snowmen from the lair of the flamizards!
In the pack you will also find the sequel, Snowfields of the heat (CK.j2t), finished on the 30th of June, 2002. Now that peace has been restored to Snowdust Village, the snowmen have elected a new king who settled in the Frost Capital, the most safest settlement in the area. The surrounding fields are also known as the "snowfields of the heat". This is because, for some reason the ground and snow feel warmer here than in the rest of the country. For this reason, the king suspects that the flamizards have a second hideout underground. The goal in this level simply is to locate this hideout and find out if Drangus is there. If so, the snowmen know where to attack and deal with them once and for all.
I have to admit that this level is much less original and less fun than the original, but the third level in the Snowdust trilogy (found in the WoC pack) hopefully makes up for this!

Time and Dimensions was the long-awaited REAL sequel to Land of Coins.
The construction of the level started at the 30th of August, 2001. We made it the same way as CTU world was made. After someone has made a part, he sent it to another person, and that person sends it to another person, and so on. Coolman and I had to send the level to eachother really often, because we did only a small part every time. We spent much of our time working on it though. For example, every time it was my turn, and I was on the PC, I worked on TaD daily, at least one hour a day. At the 10th of October, 2001, the level was finally done, and released.
The evil trio (Fright, Darco and Shader, from LoC) were pissed because their plan with the coin curse didn't work. They wanted revenge. You don't need to be a genius to understand that when you destroy the world in the past, the world is gone in the future as well. And that's exactly how they thought. Using powerful sorcery, they created a timeportal to the first year of the world's existance, and many other eras. In seven different timezones, each in exactly the same spot, they installed kinds of artifacts which were slowly absorbing the earth's life energy. They needed this power to destroy the world. But villains wouldn't be villains if they didn't make stupid mistakes which would eventually lead to their demise. And yes, they forgot to remove the time portals after using them,
so now time traveling was available for anyone who knows the location of the portals. To cut a long story short; the goal is to retrieve the four artifacts in 380.000.000 BC, 50.000.000 BC, 2.000.000 BC, 100 BC, 600 AD, 1950 AD and 4300 AD, then enter Blood's Tomb and the Death Fortress and confront the baddies! WARNING: This level is REALLY hard, and if you can do it without looking at JCS, I truly admire you.

A traditional type of level with a classical tileset. It takes place in the same city as LoC, but a while later after the coin curse. Fans of LoC will probably recognize a lot of things in this level. Five red sheep of the farmer have ran away. It’s up to you to find them back for him.

Drangus, the evil villain from the Snowdust Village, has returned, screaming for vengeance. He has used his dark magical powers to create a paralel dimension, called the F-Dimension. He has created one or two portals which connect both dimensions. To make the snowmen pay for what they did to him last time, he has captured five snowmen and is holding them prisoner in his F-Dimension. Help the snowmen; go to the F-Dimension, find the keys of their cells and free the snowmen! Fans of the original Snowdust Village may like this one.

This level does not really have a storyline. You’re in the middle of a big casino and in order to get out, you have to pull the levers of five slotmachines which are each in a different room. Each of them has a sort of ‘test’ to reach it. Don’t play this level if you don’t like tests or don’t have enough patience, since it’s slightly different from the previous four.

Deep in the jungle of Maboroshi there lies a temple. Five scarab tokens belong to this temple. For an unknown reason, these have vanished. When pirate captain Scale and his crew went to discover the secret of the inhabitants, they never returned, and nothing has been heard about Tropicana Bay ever since…

Picture yourself in some typical super hero team vs. bad guys comic book. There's a really strong super cow called "DK", supported by his friend "Holy Cow", his wife "Moo Moo" and his son "Moo Moo Jr" (who is rumoured to have even more hidden powers than his father!). Together, they fight against the extremely original "Evil Cow". He came up with a really original plan which is to take over the planet and then destroy it. Ofcourse, our heroes don't want that to happen. Using his 1337 evil magic, the "Evil Cow" drained five very important essences out of "DK" (Courage, Strength, Wisdom, Attitude and Ownage) and now they have to be returned to "DK" otherwise he will never be 1337 enough to defeat the "Evil Cow"!

The third and the final chapter in the well-known Snowdust saga. After the events of WoC #4, Drangus and his flamizard followers have been caught and jailed in the urbanized area west of the Frozen Castle. However, the traitorous snowmen who switched to the Flamizard's side and guarded the keys in #4, haven't been caught yet - except for the Dark Warrior (who took his own life afterwards, unable to accept the shame). On the other hand, there's a runaway out of control robot that needs to be caught.

The western half of this level was originally a (failed) battle level, so I converted it into a "WoC" level as well. You're in a giant factory... or what's left of it, in the year 2500. As science progressed through the years, scientists were able to built humanoid robots with a well developed AI. But because of an accident in the year 2417, the factory exploded and all humans within and around died. Only the strong, metallic, robots survived. They are your only guides who can help you find the exit in this futuristic maze.
